Got to meet sweet Ella a few days ago and oh my goodness she is precious! She did SO well getting her photos done! We photographed her parents engagement and wedding and it’s always a special honor to be asked to capture all these sweet big life-milestones! ❤️
Even though it’s not June 6th anymore, still wishing our sweet Emma a happy 5th birthday! 5 seems so old😭 Emma is sweet, so smart, thoughtful, and a good big sister who has to put up with a lot (being the firstborn is hard!), has her sour patch kid moments that show us she is also stubborn, but can be so patient and kind too😂😉 She is so beautiful, funny, quirky, has her first loose tooth(🤯), loooves to run, climb, jump off things, swim, swing on the monkey bars, ride bikes, make obstacle courses, color and do any craft, play outside, play “scare” and really any game including board and card games. She loves to ask questions about everything especially God and anything related to Him. It has been so neat to see her wonder and curiosity about that and have some really good conversations so far. We pray for her salvation! Also praying for a sweet year for her as she has a lot of changes in this year 5. Praying for our hearts too as we watch this first baby of ours, who was just so so tiny like, a few minutes ago, suddenly blossom into this big kid. It’s so heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time to watch these kids grow up❤️ We love you so much, Emma!
Henry turned 3, yesterday!😭 He’s sweet, crazy, always looking out for others and making sure everyone is enjoying what he is enjoying, he loves McQueen and McDonald’s and his family even more 😉 He loves to dance, be rocked in his rocking chair, play cars with everyone on his track rug, and loves any quality time he can get. He’s brave and strong and been through so much in 3 little years, but he is still so joyful and happy. We thank the Lord for that hope that we have in Him when it comes to Henry’s future and health, and we are so happy for these 3 years he has given us so far❤️ We pray Henry comes to know the Lord even more and falls in love with Him more and more each day! Happy Birthday, Henry!❤️

***MINI SESSION DATES ARE OUT*** Hello World! It's been a very long time. Very long. In fact, it's been a little over a year since I posted a post related to this photography business. Henry's diagnosis and then welcoming Clark into the world, well let's just say that the business was the first thing to go when priorities were reordered. It's been knocked down quite a bit, but not totally out. I've still taken photos since early 2022, just here and there, doing as much as I can, and I have been so grateful for every session request. Grateful for those who have checked in so gently to see if I was still shooting or not. That has meant a lot! I have not made any business updates or shared any expectations so I completely understood the confusion if I was still shooting to not. I am happy to announce that I am still here and have just posted some dates for mini sessions, in addition to still offering full sessions year-round! I’m days late, but on June 6th our Emma turned 4! ❤️😭😭 I can’t believe it. She’s so grown already and I can’t help but be a little sad about that! But it is fun to also see her growing up and learning new things each day. Charlie took the day off and Emma had a fun birthday full of friends, present opening, swim lessons, Chick-fil-A, the merry go round at the mall with Audrey (and Rachel who was a very good sport to come do all the motion sickness things!😂), Barnes and noble, and back home for more outside play and dinner and a movie. We decided to start a new tradition where the birthday kid gets to stay up with Mom and Dad and watch something of their choice. We painted nails while we watched and she was excited for the whole idea, but also got too tired to finish the movie and asked to go to bed 😂😂 Can’t wait to celebrate her more with everyone this weekend! We love you, our crazy, silly, sweet and beautiful Emma girl ❤️
Our brave baby Honey is 2 today!! I can’t believe it. 😭 What a crazy 2 years he has had. Thank you Lord for Henry!❤️ I love his kind spirit and sweet heart the most. We’re excited to celebrate Henry today!

We have another BOY!! Our red haired little guy, Clark Oliver, joined us on Tuesday night, May 2nd at 11:16pm! After my water broke at 2am it was a looong day of waiting for labor to start. It finally started at 7:30pm making for a quick labor!🙌🏻 I had to do a lot of praying for patience and trust that day as I got very discouraged during the long wait for labor. Thanking the Lord for a quick and safe delivery even though I was foolish enough to doubt His plan was going better than the one I envisioned. He is too good to us! Thankful for Charlie as well for the care he took in doing his best to keep me positive, encouraged, and well loved through the whole process. Couldn’t have done it without him❤️ Welcome to the world sweet Clark!
Happy Due Date, Baby #3! Hope to meet you this week?!? Maybe?? We will see! So far it seems this baby is following after their siblings and is going to be late as well 😂🤷🏻♀️
Loooong post so I did screenshots instead of the whole story on Facebook😂😂 If you’d rather not read a novel, I’m in short sharing that I am 30 weeks along and we are so grateful for all the Lord has done for us in this pregnancy! Im going to do my best to cherish these last 10-12 weeks as I feel like I’ve let this pregnancy just pass on by without really fully acknowledging all the Lord has given us and done for us. We are so excited to meet this sweet baby! ❤️

I’ve been meaning to share our family photos done by the amazing , we are so in love with every photo she took! This is only 10 out of so many more! She was so gracious to gift us this session which meant so much to us❤️ We had the session in our backyard on probably the most humid day ever and y’all, she wiped sweat off my forehead for me. That act of service right there speaks volumes of what a sweet friend and servants heart she has! Thank you so much for these, Hannah!!❤️
Also!! Tomorrow is Henry’s 8th round of treatment (Tuesday). It should be pretty similar to the last cycle, only this time he is fighting a cold so we will see what his counts are like when we get there in the morning. If everything is low we will have to postpone treatment. Hoping that doesn’t happen, but also totally ok if we have to postpone. All weird feelings right now🤷🏻♀️ We are praying this will be Henry’s last treatment cycle!! Prayers everything goes smoothly if he is healthy enough to go through with the long day, prayers for safe travels, and praying Emma will get to come up and visit his room for a bit while we are there! She is always curious about everything we go do at the hospital, so we would love to have her visit and show her around a bit while we are there! Thank you all for your prayers! They mean so much. ❤️

Very excited to share that our very own (assistant;) Madison is newly engaged!! I can’t believe it! Many of you have met Maddie at your weddings as she held dresses, lenses, drinks, bags, etc. and now she’s going to be a bride herself! My little Maddie is all grown up 😭 Congratulations, !! We love you guys!
Emma turned 3 today!!😭❤️😭❤️ We had such an amazing long weekend celebrating her!! This is a huge photo share from the weekend, but we did a lot! It was an amazing weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to Emma’s birthday party, it was an incredible party! Oh it was so so fun and so heartwarming to see everyone shower our girl with so much love! We had a toy story themed party/water activity party which made all of Charlie’s dreams come true to throw a backyard water activity party! I think he may have had more fun than the kids even did!😉 SO fun!! Today we spent most of the day outside and per Emma’s request, had brithday dinner at Waffle House for “maffles and bacon”! I can’t believe Emma is 3. She’s not “2 and a piece” anymore 😭 I’ve cried bittersweet tears this weekend. It’s an honor and a privilege to watch you grow Emma, and also heartbreaking to watch you grow. It’s been an adventure that we are so happy to be on with you. You’ve had to understand and go through some tough things with us this year and have handled it all so well, sweet girl. We love you so. Happy Birthday ❤️
ONE YEAR OLD TODAY!! ❤️ Bud, you’ve been through more in a year than some have in a lifetime. It’s not the year we ever wanted you to have, but we are thankful still that God gave us, you, this year and this birthday. Birthdays are a big deal! We love you big, Baby Henry! We spent today at Cracker Barrel, in the little pool, watching Bluey, and had strawberry shortcake with a candle. He will have no problem smashing into his cake at his birthday party tomorrow!😉 Happy Birthday, Henry!❤️
We had our first wedding of 2022 this weekend and it was a party! .cote and were married on a beautiful winter day with surprise snow fall from the night before still on the ground! Their good boy Kirby made an appearance during portraits and kind of stole the show a bit;) We have SO many more photos to go though from this day, but had to share just a few previews today!

I’ve been horrible at updating about Henry and how he has been doing. We decided to finally move ahead with having his “deep scope”/upper endoscopy procedure done, and we just handed him off to head to the OR. I was doing so well with emotions until then. We know Henry is in good hands of not only good doctors, but also in the hands of the Lord and that brings us peace. Praying for a quick procedure and quick and easy recovery. Thank you to everyone who has supported, prayed, and loved on us this far!❤️
A lot of you have probably been wondering if I have even been back to work and photographing again since having Henry…the answer is YES! I have actually already had some time of being very busy, and time of things being slower. Lately it’s been a perfect balance! I’ve been looking to get some mini sessions weekend dates out but, I’m not sure I actually have a free weekend for a full mini session event before the Christmas rush. So! I will be offering mini session pricing for a 30 minute session for the month of November ONLY! I LOVE that we got found and captured by Matt King at church this week because, I seriously shed a happy tear when I saw this. This sweet time of being able to baby wear during church is such a short time and I love every bit of it. And now I have a precious photo to remember it by ❤️😭
Today we have been married 7 years!! We celebrated yesterday with just the 2 of us at local republic, the first date we’ve done without kiddos since Henry was born! Today looks much different than it did 7 years ago as I am definitely not wearing a big white dress, Charlie is working, and we are busy packing for the beach and trying to finish up work. Not at all similar to our wedding day, but today is one of those days that 7 years ago, we talked and dreamed about having “one day”. We’ve done some reflecting on where we started and where we are now and it’s just crazy to be living so many of the blessings we prayed for for all these years. ❤️ I love you so, Charlie! I love being your bride today and always!
