In this Wedding Film I was fortunate enough to have been asked to fly out to South Carolina and capture these two big day!
Little Humid, but all in all the weather was awesome. We spent the week leading up to the wedding day on their family's huge porch with cigars and drinks. Talking about everything and anything all at the same time. From having shots of tequila with mom, bouquets so "Lit" that they literally start on fire to dinosaurs in the wedding party! This celebration had it all!
I want to thank Carrie and Terry for trusting to fly me out to capture their day... what an awesome week/weekend it was down in South Carolina!

Not only did I get to have "my first time" at a relatively new rooftop venue in Detroit, BUT... Katie and Jon got married and found their someone to dance through life with!

Brooke and Nick ('... I didn't see you coming."
One of the reason I love what I do, is not only because I'm trusted to tell someone's love story... but I'm able to travel with couples to gorgeous locations. In this film, Brooke and Nick (Iggy) took a weekend to celebrate with their family and friends on the banks of Muskegon Bay in Muskegon, Michigan.
The days leading up to the wedding, I was able to join them on their families yacht as we traveled around the bay and watched beautiful sunsets at night. Laughing and drinking with friends as Iggy and others jumped into the water from the top steps of the yacht.
Iggy's uncle owns a bar in downtown Muskegon that we were able to visit while in town. Great atmosphere and great conversations had by friends and family sharing stories of Brooke and Iggy's story thus far.
Wedding day finally arrives, and I already feel like part of the family. Brooke and Nick's family are very accommodating asking 'me' if I need anything when they make their drinks to celebrate. Because this was such a big event I took a long with me more of my team from back home. Joining me was Blake and Kynna. Blake helped out with being my 2nd shooter, and Kynna took the lead for all photography for the wedding. Well needless to say photo and video turned out great!
Brooke and Iggy have a little girl named Olivia who I think was the real star of the show. Her smile, giggles, and yes even her 'yells' were infectious! Iggy, had a special song picked out just for the two of them to share during the daddy-daughter dance and it was very cute seeing Olivia laying in his arms. Brooke's father had an emotional toasts during dinner, that I think had everyone in tears!
So much to say about this amazing couple and their wedding! My team, myself, and everyone involved had an absolute blast!
