We are very pleased that they have agreed to join the board and are willing to volunteer their time to keep our Community Hall running smoothly.

The changes will take place over the next few weeks - anyone who currently has the hall booked for an event will be contacted with the new contact info for your rental.

So we are trying to decide whether to have a New Years dance this year after a few years. We will need some volunteers to set up and clean up next day to be able to put this on, as well as decorating.

This Saturday August 19th come by 3550 hwy 57, Caesarea Firefighters Association are hosting a charity car wash. 10am - 2 pm. For a donation you can come and get your car, van, truck, Firetruck or whatever vehicle you need washed by your local Firefighters. Scugog Fire Hall #2.

Come out and meet our new Mayor

I am very excited to share that on August 19th I was acclaimed as the Mayor elect for Scugog. A little strange to be sure to find myself not needing to knock on doors, post signs and hand out pamphlets. This also meant I wouldn’t chat with and hear residents ideas and concerns.
My goal has always been to make Scugog the best it can be. To achieve that - I believe we need collaborative leadership. We need to engage community in the conversation and we need to listen and respond to the ideas. Six or seven of your future council were acclaimed in August. Ward 5 has 3 candidates in a race for that position.
My team would love to hear from you. I have booked a number of locations for residents to come and meet us and chat. We will be at the Greenbank Hall on September 20th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and at Caesarea Hall on September 22nd at 7:00 pm.
Your voice is important to us please come and share your thoughts. Help guide us through the next four years.
