After some bitter cold and lots of rain recently; today we got warmer weather and ☀️ here in DFW. 🤩 I took full advantage of it and took my pups Pistol and Pele for a nice walk. Even my cat Biscuits N Gravy got outside in her cat condo to birdwatch 😸 She likes to nap next to one of my succulent arrangements behind the couch too! haha Did anyone get up to anything fun the past few days?

I am blown away by the incredible interest to my upcoming classes! Right now I am talking with several venues to nail down dates. Also responding back to everyone that has expressed interest in wanting to join in on the fun. I host craft nights at private residences as well, if you wanted to get a group of friends together. Prices range from $25-$65+ depending on the size and complexity of the arrangement. We can hand paint the flowers first, or focus on the arranging only. I provide all floral supplies needed and will be there to guide you as you create. The best part is you leave with a beautiful floral piece that won't wilt or die! Super excited for the upcoming months! I am finalizing my class schedule for February and March in the DFW area. I will teach you how to DIY your own arrangements. Yummy food and tasty drinks will also be involved. So many amazing things are in the works. Stay tuned for announcements soon. 🤩 We could all use a pop of color with this dreary winter weather.

I am at Central High School in Keller Lightning Dancers Service Organization until 5pm today and 10-5pm tomorrow. Come peruse some beautiful blooms! I've got a DIY 💐 bar as well as seasonal and year round arrangements. Wood flowers won't wilt or die and zero care is required! Over 100 vendors of all sorts are also set up. So many great Christmas gift ideas!

May the Forbes... er Fourth be with you! My mom's maiden name is Forbes and her brother, my awesome uncle did lots of research over the last few years about our family history. Unfortunately, my uncle passed away a few months ago. I had the honor of doing the flowers for his funeral. His wife, two daughters and his sister/my mom were able to take home an arrangement as a reminder of a great man, gone way too soon. 💙💚

Wowza!! The wildflowers here in North Texas are in full effect. But unfortunately so are my allergies 😵💫 Wood flowers work well for those that suffer seasonally like I do. The best part is they won't wilt or die! This wedding order had coneflowers, hand painted sunflowers and fire wheels. Do you deal with any allergies??

Sunflowers were always one of my favorite flowers growing up. 🌻 I remember traveling from North Texas to Mexico and seeing them along the highways and begging my parents to stop at every patch we saw. I also used the Sunflower perfume from Elizabeth Arden. Does anyone remember that one?? 😀 I'd love to hear what your favorite flowers are!

Happy St. Patrick's day! I had the amazing opportunity to work in Ireland at a summer camp for seriously ill kids in 2005. Here is the gorgeous castle that sits on the premises at Barretstown.
