I’m Katie and my sisters Rachel and Laura would love to tell you a bit about our mom Karen Hood. She started her container garden business over 15 years ago, helping folks all around Columbia get their front porch pots and gardens looking party pretty

for whatever season or occasion was upcoming. She spent her days dreaming, designing, and digging in the dirt. To my two sisters and me, she was the Compost Queen! Over the last few years, her focus has shifted to floral design and decor styling for everything from weddings, fundraisers, and corporate events, to baby showers, dinner parties and more. Her designs are imaginative and personalized, constantly evolving to meet the unique desires of our clients. We combine traditional and modern materials to create the perfect design for any occasion. She's too modest to say it but this woman has an amazing eye! The magic really is in the details. Today, as Perfect Petals, we have teamed up to do what we do best: create beautiful spaces perfect for celebrating life's sweetest moments and we can't wait to help you celebrate yours! Inspired by our clients and their visions, we design, create, and install custom floral experiences for your special occasion. From weddings to corporate gatherings, engagement parties to birthday brunches and everything in between, we have your floral dreams covered. We work closely with our couples to understand their vision and create the perfect floral design to bring that vision to life. At Perfect Petals, we dream up the details (big and small) so that you can live in the moment. Seasonal Door Décor:
Set the tone for the season! Using a mix of fresh and artificial plant material, your existing seasonal decor items, and maybe a few new things, we’ll design, install, and style custom holiday decor moments for your home, inside and out. That's why we've taken the classic picnic and elevated it with swoon worthy set-ups and delicious grazing platters, perfect for enjoying life's sweetest moments whether it’s just for two or a large group of 30. From girls’ days, date nights, and birthdays, to showers, mommy-and-me days, and more, we curate pop up picnic experiences you will never forget. Let us take care of the details so that you can live in the moment! When you're done, we'll take care of clean up and break down so that you can focus on enjoying the rest of your day!
