I’m becoming more and more passionate about helping myself and others achieve dreams. Just for a little background, here is a look at my first business I started back in 2009. I bought a marathon training franchise the month after my first baby was born! Was I a runner? No! Did I have any experience in business? No! It’s a wild story, you can read about it and get a couple of tips for achieving your endeavors at emergeevents.com/blog. My passion for helping people achieve dreams also means helping people avoid some of the pitfalls I’ve fallen into over the years. That’s why I have created many of the events and programs I’ve produced over the years, including the Women Business Owner Summit. I want to surround you with information, resources, support, cheerleaders, and others going on similar journeys. We are not alone. And we are #bettertogether! #emergetoday and join us at the Summit in August. emergeevents.com/wbos. Please share with everyone you think could benefit! And to my Marathon Makeover friends, you all made a huge impact on my life! I’m honored that you came along on the journey!

For anyone who sends bulk emails, this is important! And I don't understand it so I am relying on those that do.
From what I can understand, starting this month gmail and yahoo are making changes to crack down on spam to their users. So if you send bulk email, even through a service like mailchimp, you need to make sure you update your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings on your website so you aren't flagged as spam or your emails aren't delivered at all. And if you have a business and are sending bulk emails from a generic email like @gmail.com then your emails may also be flagged as spam or not delivered.
You can google the new email deliverability updates to find out more, because I am not a web developer and I don't understand this. Or get with a web developer to help you make any changes you need on your website.
If you don't have anyone to help you contact Craig Caruso. Craig L. Caruso
When I crashed my own website last week (unrelated to this topic), I was on the phone with his wife, Liz Caruso, and he overheard and instantly helped me get back up and running. Then updated all of these setting also. HUGE LIFESAVER!!!! So reach out to Craig, he has been helping so many businesses make sure our emails are going to get delivered and not marked as spam.

Emerge Events: Internship Program
We are entering the 4th year of our internship program with our 19th intern! We've had interns from the The University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University. We love working with students from local universities and teaching them the ins and outs about events. Every student we work with gives us a fresh and unique perspective to our business! We are so grateful for all of the students have worked with us and will work with us in the future! #SMTTT #WilliamCarey #Interns #EmergeEvents #HattiesburgEvents #MSEventPlanner #Educating #Teaching #Learning #DoWhatYouLove #LoveWhatYouDo
