I want to take the stress out of planning, designing, and carrying out the day of events for the host so that they can just have fun. We offer design services, full planning, month of planning and day of coordination. For weddings my goal is to make the couple feel like they can trust me with the work so they can get back to focusing on each other; the real reason for the wedding day. I love to he

We made it to the Top 5!!! We have to make it to the Top position to make it out of the group stage and to the quarterfinals!!! The nonprofit that runs this contest used your donations to provide a 1M grant to help babies impacted by the hurricane in NC and FL! Know that if you decide to make a donation to vote it does go to a good cause! Keep up the voting!

Happy 7 year wedding 💍 anniversary to us (Heather and Brandon)! Today has been a day of celebration and challenge. This is what marriage is all about. Supporting each other through all the challenges that might come your way and helping your kids navigate those situations right beside you. Brandon found out today that he is being sent to Western NC to help with the relief efforts as a lineman for an undetermined amount of time. 7 years ago, tomorrow, we started our honeymoon in Spruce Pine and traveled to Asheville. Tomorrow, Brandon will make that exact journey to help those without power. It will be sad to see the difference, but I am glad B can help! Here is to another great year and navigating the rough waters together as a team! 🥂

Have y'all ever been to for a wedding? They have horses!! This beautiful wedding venue in Chapel Hill has three unique ceremony sites, an indoor space and a large covered reception area. We love having weddings here! This is the wedding that started our connection, and I later found out that I went to high school with the owner! Small world!

Sometimes, a rainy day can churn out some amazing photos before the storm! Part of our job is to check the radar continuously throughout the day to prepare for any weather that comes our way. We always have a backup plan for rain, in case, and will do anything to help your vision come to life. We have stood out in the rain with an umbrella over the photographer to get the perfect shot! We've moved co****le boards inside on a dance floor for a rainy cocktail hour for a knockout tournament with prizes. We've moved 125 chairs inside 30 mins before a ceremony when a very quick storm moved in from nowhere! For every wedding, we combine advanced planning with hard work to make your dreams come true, in any weather!

Hey everyone! I am Heather, the owner of Paisley and Pearl Events. I lead all of our full planning, partial planning, and some of our month of coordination packages!

Fun facts about me:
1. I have two kiddos (a four year old daughter and an almost 1 year old son) that are my whole world!

2. I met my husband in 2006 at a chance mutual friend encounter at NC State, but we didn't talk again until 2010. We saw each other at the movie theater in 2010 and reconnected over FB messenger! We dated for 6 years and got married in September 2017. You can meet your spouse anywhere!

3. I was a nanny for 12 years locally and in Madrid, Spain. My daughter still gave me a run for my money!

4. My favorite part of wedding planning is getting to know my clients and then hearing their toasts on the day of the wedding. It gives us a glimpse into our clients' lives even further!

Did you know we offer pre-marital counseling by a certified Prepare/Enrich counselor with a master's degree in counseling?! Yes, we do!

All the kids are going back to school to build a foundation for learning, but have you built your strong foundation for marriage? Our counseling isn't meant to tell you if you are "perfect for one another" but to facilitate conversations about topics important to discuss before marriage like communication, conflict resolution, child rearing, etc. We offer these services to all couples, not just our planning clients! Did you know we offer partial planning as well as full planning and month of coordination. Partial planning allows us the ability to get to know each other even better, so when something inevitably comes up on wedding day we can weigh our expertise along with what we think you would want without needing to ask you! These packages include additional planning meetings to talk through design, logistics, and unique details we can add to make your wedding more you!

I hope all of you had a fun and joyful weekend! Mine was filled with some much love! I was honored to share my birthday with International Women's Day on Friday and then spend the weekend celebrating! Also, my nephew was born only 45 mins into March 9th, so I almost had a birthday buddy! Our family is so excited! How was your weekend? What did you do? I told you I would post our family photos when I had a sneak peek, so here are my little nuggets! Aria is four and Little Miss Independent. Luca is 5 months and Mr Steal Your Girl already! They are both so much fun to be around, and they are my why in life! Any goal I have for business is to make their lives better and to gain more time with them! Love you both munchkins!

Fun fact that a lot of couples don't know is that MacGregor Downs Country Club is open to all planning a wedding. You don't have to be a member or know a member to celebrate your wedding there! All rentals like tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware and glassware are included in your rental! Plus catering and bar are in-house, so less vendors to navigate! We would love to see you there!

Today, we had family photos done at the NC Art Museum by our wedding photographer and I can't wait to see them!! I will share them with yall soon! Thankfully, the vibe was cozy because it was cold! She is amazing, and I miss getting to see her often!

We hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day and celebrated your love!

Do you still date your partner? A fun suggestion is to schedule a date night once a week or every other weekend and trade off planning. Each date night, one partner plans the night as a surprise of what you think the other one will enjoy and then have fun experiencing it together! Next week switch! This way of doing date night means you've scheduled time together, adds a dose of spontaneity since one partner doesn't know what is happening, shows you know and care for your partner by choosing what they would enjoy, and takes the pressure off the "planner" in the relationship as that duty is split.

When anyone asks us what is our ideal client we say, "Couples who are looking to have a seamless day, unique ceremony showcasing their love for one another and ready to throw down when the reception starts!" The first part we take care of by making sure all of your vendors are prepared to do their best job for the two of you and bringing our level-headed energy to the wedding day. Nora and Aaron kept the dance floor packed, along with smooth DJ skills.

Today is the last day to purchase tickets! Come celebrate your love under the stars (clear top tent with heaters and market lights) on Saturday from 6 to 9. Open bar and full buffet! Very romantic setting to celebrate Valentine's Day with your sweetheart!

What it your pet name for your significant other? I used to call Brandon "Baby" but now that we have babies it has transitioned to "Babe"
