This week the local Cattleman's Association had their annual dinner, and we were honored to provide them with some great wintertime COMFORT FOOD, on a chilly evening! Saucy's is a big fan of anything AG especially in Kosciusko County! (I married the most handsome Pork Producer in the county, back in the day!😁). The menu: Beef Swiss Steak, Creamy Swiss Chicken Breast with Herbed Topping, mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, leafy green salad, and simple desserts!

To all you wintertime SOUP LOVERS and all my CHEESE BALL FANS....
This week I have quart containers of delicious Chicken Orzo Soup, Broccoli-Cheddar, and my ZUPPA TOSCANO in the Grab-n-Go fridge at the newly opened For Heaven Sakes Cupcakes BAKERY, in Bremen! Also on hand are 1 # containers of SMOKED PULLED PORK, ....and then there are the CHEESE Balls, prepared "pint size" and ready to serve on your own platter...or eat it right out of the container! 🥰 Garden Garlic Veggie, Corned Beef and Green Onion, LEMON Blueberry, and Cherry Chocolate Chip! GO VISIT THE NEW BAKERY, treat yourself to all the beautiful and delicious desserts Tabby creates, and grab an easy dinner from Saucy's out of the fridge! A match made in HEAVEN!

I have 4 EXTRA TICKETS for tonight to the CHARITY GAYLE CONCERT at The Blue Gate Theater in Shipshewana. This includes dinner . I am taking some of my catering crew up for the event, and we have had some who cannot come. I am offering the tickets for $75 ea., and will meet you at the restaurant at 5:15. We at Saucy's are so excited for our Tabby, who is having her GRAND OPENING on Friday! Chef Tabitha Felton is an incredible baker, and has also been a great supporting member of our crew, and has become a very dear friend. Her new bakery is located in Bremen, IN., and if you're interested in supporting a Christian based business woman, I encourage you to show up on Friday to bless her new business and try her wonderful creations! Your prayer support is welcome as she steps into unchartered waters! 🎉🍰🎂

November and December have been non-stop for myself and my crew, so we always look forward to closing the kitchen the weekend before Christmas for some rest and family time through the end of the year.
The only event I booked for the last two weeks of December....a Vow Renewal for The Houins, celebrating 40 years together! My Hot Cinnamon cider, a Charcuterie Spread with added Hot Bites, and mini cheese cakes from Chef Tabby For Heaven Sakes Cupcakes ! An intimate event, set before a roaring fire at The Wooded Knot Weddings & Events . Congratulations to Kevin and Tammy, and many blessings!

To all y'all with kiddos!!! WARSAW Fun wintertime entertainment...and prize winning too!!!

Our Kids Coloring Contest is quickly approaching, so we wanted to let you know that this will be formatted a bit different than years past!

We have decided to have a different coloring page for the following age groups: 2-5, 6-9, 10-13, and 14-17. Each age group will have the same page to color and submit, and each age group will have a winner.

Coloring pages can be printed online, or picked up and returned to our office, 123 E Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw starting on January 6th. There is no fee to enter, we just ask that you provide your contact information on the back of the page where indicated so we can contact our winners!

Grammy's bragging rights!
My grandson Xander did an awesome job playing King Herod in the Calvary Tabernacle of Winona Lake's Sunday School drama!! His "advisors" hauled his comatose body off stage when he passed!
The entire cast was superb....I loved every minute of it! Proud of kids who love serving Jesus!
Thank you to teachers, parents, and volunteers who put time and effort into this event!

So today I catered an event with a "Candy Cane" theme. No Saucy's spread is complete without a few of our famous cheese balls, so I created one to go along with the theme! Ta da... Here is Saucy's newest cheese ball! A White Chocolate Peppermint Oreo, with a white chocolate "shell", crusted with crushed peppermints. Try this served with Chocolate Grahams! Soooo delish!😊😋

Today hubby and I were honored and humbled to attend a Christmas Ministries banquet in New Castle with our Pastor and Wife, and enjoyed great fellowship. BEST of all was that I was treated to a catered meal from the OTHER SIDE of the table, and I met a new friend and kindred spirit, Michelle Mize, owner of M&M Catering, a sister in the Lord who also loves to feed people good food! Although she and her wonderful crew were busy, we managed to "talk shop", exchange biz cards and pose for a selfie! Hope we cross paths again sometime in the future!
To area WARSAW friends... This church in New Castle, Indiana "Victory Church" on 14th Street is....Wait For It....IN AN OLD MARSH STORE! I took a few pictures...they've done a great job with it, and have more projects yet to be done.
Having worked in the Warsaw Marsh store for 22 years, I know that it would take many millions to refurbish and renew that edifice, but I sure have lots of ideas, including a fabulous venue and kitchen, outdoor garden/eating, mini shops, bakery, central lounging, rooftop apartments, and more.
Ummhmm...millions, lol!

Today we lost one of our "grand pets"! Deeds the Hedgehog passed peacefully in his sleep. He is the real-life inspiration for one of my famous cheese balls for a Woodland themed baby shower!
Taking pre-orders for Christmas cheese balls now! Pick Up will be necessary by Dec. 21st.

I awoke yesterday at 3:30 am after only 2 hours of sleep and could hardly get out of bed....my BACK!😐😩😵‍💫. But...it was time to get up and make breakfast for 75, as I do every Wednesday!!
Lois Borkholder had volunteered to meet me at 5:30 and serve up breakfast to Warsaw Breakfast Optimists! She arrived singing praises and served efficiently and cheerfully and took on my inability to lift and haul like a champ. Without me saying anything, Molly Fishel could tell I was hurting, and jumped in after the Optimists meeting was over, to grab the trash bags and haul them out to the dumpster... What discernment and a servants heart! She came back into the kitchen, walked up alongside me and prayed for me! Today, I am MUCH improved, Praise The Lord!
My younger daughter Darci worked her shift at her job, unloaded my van, picked up catering equipment from the previous days event, bought groceries, delivered Cheese Balls up to Owen's Fresh Meat Market to fill orders, and cleaned the certified kitchen up for me, while I drove to Greenwood to meet up my with mother and bring her home with me....in heavy traffic, pouring rain and low visibility! In the meantime, Gary, my handsome hubby was covering two scheduled pick-up time frames at our church, for those who had ordered our Pulled Pork for the missionary fundraiser to Cuba, (and I had cheese ball orders being picked up there as well!). And last but not least, my wonderful mother in-law, Grandma Elaine has cleaned my house and prepared guests rooms for me this week.
SO THANKFUL, especially so when my back pain was so intense, for these angels God sent my way and put in my path, in my time of need...He is Faithful, and a Good, Good Father!

In the crazy, busy chaos of events, special orders, CHEESE BALL MANIA, family arriving, parties to host and attend...

I don't want to forget to express my heartfelt THANKS to every single person who has engaged or enjoyed our services this year. Another year of God's amazing Grace and goodness for Saucy's....I am so grateful! Lots of new friends and faces, and opportunities I never dreamed of!
