Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club came and decorated the front of our home! This is one of their yearly fundraisers and they will even come back and pick it up when you're ready to decorate for Christmas!!! For fun, I added in pics of Floyd the rooster, one of our ornery "grandfowlin's" who posed for an autumn photo shoot at our daughter's!

Today was a GREAT DAY for the WARSAW CITY EMPLOYEES! It was the Mayor's City Employees Picnic at Center Lake. We served lunch to 200 city employees.. from the Mayor's offices, Police, Fire, Street Department...and the list goes on!! There were poles and bait for fishing, Kayaks, lawn games, and even Arts and Crafts provided for a very deserving group of hardworking folks! And Mayor Jeff was kept cool, amidst the after heat, from being repeatedly dunked by a good natured crowd of "dunkers!" Menu was Smoked Pulled Pork and grilled hotdogs, with tons of options for toppings, chili, potato salad, creamy slaw, assorted chips, and Soft Serve ice cream!

Our food pantry served 208 households this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The need is GREAT in our community. We pray for hope, sustenance, and God's provision for each family we serve.

THANK YOU to everyone who responded to our video about our empty shelves last week. We are grateful for your continued partnership and support. The pantry is still in need of more food and hygiene products to continue serving the unprecedented numbers of people who need the resources. Saucy's Catering does Charcuterie Spreads...perfect for your Mother/Daughter Tea, Graduation Open House, or summer lakeside parties!

Gave hubby tickets to dinner and a Kenny G concert for his birthday. (For those who don't know, Gary is a sax player!). We also had time between dinner and the concert to see the beautiful light display in Shipshewana. (Xander helped me make this video😘)

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Josh Holmes, who tied the knot weekend before last at Chapel Road Retreat! (Andrews, IN). We love this beautiful family, friends of our son. We wish you a happy future together down on the farm! More pics shown in the comments!

We serve Breakfast...to the Warsaw Breakfast Optimists every WEDNESDAY at 6:30 a.m. What an amazing group of people who love our community and invest in it, especially to youth! Waking up at 3:30 a.m. to make gallons of coffee and cook a delicious meal is a real commitment...but I have greatly enjoyed it!

A networking luncheon for our area's Right To Life and associated organizations. We are blessed to serve them!

Bowen Center celebrates their Fall Festival! Saucy's served up Soups, Ranch Oysters Crackers, Garlic Knots, Salad Bar with Butter Basil Grilled Chicken and all the fixin's, and yummy dessert selections!

Breakfast at a local Amish Cabinetry company...what a lovely operation in the heart of Amish country, in northern Indiana! Enjoyed a beautiful drive on a misty fall morning, and breakfast was a hit! A selection of 3 different breakfast casseroles, a yogurt bar, and delicious breakfast coffee cake and breads, with juice, chocolate milk and coffee!

Creatively Tasteful, A Bit Smokey, and Very Saucy!

Before becoming a caterer with a side specialty in BBQ and smoked foods, I was a florist! I am also musically inclined, so.... I’ve been a part of lots of events in one aspect or another (foods, florals, or vocally/musically) for many years--yes, I’m totally “left-brained”, and left handed!! Add together all that creativity, my love of great food, and a knack for making it, as well as my love for happy, harmonious people, and... well, the rest is history! Good cooks run deep in both mine and my husband’s families--so you might say, it’s in our DNA!

I have a “thing” about TASTE and FLAVOR!! I want you to take a bite and feel the love! Even my “side salads” are not bland and boring, but pop with color, freshness, and flavor! And...I’m the Queen of Cheeseballs! Every kind imaginable, sweet, savory..meaty, fruity...and some still floating around in my brain, yet to be created! Hmmm.... yeah, I’m a bit “cheesy”, and for that I do not apologize! From hearty sides, refreshing salads, trendy hors d’oeuvres, you can bet it will satisfy taste buds and appetites of your friends, family, and honored guests. And you’ll be able to relax and enjoy yourself while the work is done for you.

Being a creative person, I love the challenge of personalizing your menu to you and your event! And I’m always available to meet up at a coffee shop to get to know you and help you plan. I take your ideas, factor in your budget, style, venue and preferances, and I create a menu just for you!

Don’t let our name fool you! We’re not “just BBQ”. I cater traditional foods as frequently as I do smoked meats! But if you love the taste of smoke...Our smoked meats are awesome, and go well with today’s “rustic” venues. Check out the Photo’s on this page and if you get hungry, give us a call!! We can provide you with fun food, trendy food, smokey food, “down-home vittles”, or make it a lil’ bit “up-town”-whatever your heart desires. No event is too small....I love intimate gatherings, family reunions, parties, rehersals...as well as larger receptions/banquets... and we are best suited to serve crowds no larger than 300.
