Destino Latino stays "on hold", but a 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 is awaking from hibernation! Long-time friends of the Destino Latino family are coming up with a fresh and 100 porciento fiesta latina in 𝗚𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁 aka 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲!! As Destino Latino we'll support them as much as we can, so, keep an eye out on our socials, porque pronto se viene otra sorpresitaaa 🎁 Abrazo - hug to all of you 💛

Queridos, lovely people, it has been a bit quiet from our side lately. Destino Latino 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱 with a low-profile party concept in club Tijuana, Ghent. For the 2nd edition in 2016 we moved to Café Charlatan , where we ended up organizing +15 editions. Besides that, we organized cultural and nightlife events in other venues, like Bar Bricolage, Vooruit (Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER), Polé Polé festival and Villa Anamma. We even ventured to Brussels for 2 joyful editions. During all of these editions, Destino Latino was carried by a 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, who organized the events out of pure 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻̃𝗼. Events for you, our beloved dancing crowd, always cheerful, enthusiastic, beautiful and yourself. Now, 8 years later, our former student lives have shifted towards worker's and traveller's lives, often related to the continent we call our 2nd home. Therefore, we decided to put 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 "𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱", and in the spirit and tradition of our party concept, 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 €𝟴𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀. We do however keep a financial reserve for a future revival of Destino Latino. The gifts will go to following organisations:

- https://corporacionproyectarte.org/en/inicio-english/ (Colombia - Personal and social transformation by working with children, teenagers and their families who are victims of human rights violations)
- http://edyfu.com/en/home/ (Bolivia - Development projects for children living in extremely precarious conditions in the town of Tarija)
