Oh hey there! It’s Ashley and my husband Verlon :) figure it’s been a while since we’ve come on here and said hello! Hello!

It’s wild to think this year we’re celebrating 10 years of marriage… what a beautiful journey it has been and at times difficult. From the early days of discovering each other to the deep bond we’ve built over time, every moment has been worth it. We’ve learned that love isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth the effort. It’s in the small, everyday moments—supporting each other, growing together, and constantly choosing each other, no matter what life brings. A lesson we constantly have, is choosing each other over and over again.

Marriage is a work in progress. A commitment to putting in the effort, to growing, to learning, and to finding joy even in the challenges. And as we celebrate this milestone in 2025, I’m reminded of the power of connecting deeply with your partner and making space for that love to flourish. It’s why we always emphasis the wedding is one day, but the marriage is what’s most important.

That’s why I get so excited about weddings. Celebrating two people who are ready to embark on this beautiful journey together is something that fills my heart every single time. As a wedding photographer, I have the honor of capturing the beginning of something so special—a new chapter in a love story that’s just starting to unfold. And heck yes, I’m always rooting for our couples!!!

Every wedding I capture reminds me of my own in some way, and I can’t wait to celebrate with so many couples, documenting those moments that will live on forever. This work is more than just a job to me—it’s about creating memories that last, just like the love my husband and I have built in my own lives. ❤️

I’m never going to be “over” sparkler photos. I love the moment and fun that comes from celebrating with family and friends and this couple nailed it with the gorgeous backdrop and crew helping organize and onsite for assisting.

What I love about a good set of Groom details is is tells a story of the Man and some of his favourite choices. His scent that you might sniff when cuddling, his new watch or heirloom watch from his father, the pieces he chose specifically for the wedding day. Often with weddings it can be very Bride focused, and I feel like men deserve fun and special details too.
