Ok brides, let's chat. Let me point out what I've learned from my years of watching photographers work, interact with bridal parties, and capture the beauty of the wedding days as I slip in and quietly work before stepping back. Usually, while I am placing final arrangements, the camera is already clicking and I can tell what's going on.

See, I have gotten to know these brides, know their vision and personalities.

And I've seen some photographers who just *get it.* I watch them work and I smile to myself. They have an approach that keeps the focus in sight and the couple enjoying their day. I see the pictures after the day is over and just sigh with happiness because this photographer truly worked their magic and I can see the stunning results. I know this bride can treasure her day forever.

What makes the difference? They capture quiet details so the bride can enjoy them and revel in them for years to come. They capture personality and flair. They capture my florals beautifully because they see them as the accent to a day, not props. They tell the story.

Anyone else worried about those groomsmen crushing his boutonniere?! What a way to really throw a kink in the wedding portraits, amiright?

That's why we include a spare groom's boutonniere with every bridal package - so in a pinch (or after Gramma hugs just a wee bit too hard) nobody's the wiser after a quick flower swap. ;)
