Introducing the Inductees:
"THE MANIAC" WAYNE MATTEI
The Maniac debuted for EPW Adelaide (Wrestle Rampage) in 2007 against Australian Wrestling Icon, Jag Hartley Jackson.
Before his debut, he was head of security for the promotion and just by looking at him, he was a natural for the sport of wrestling.
At 6 foot 5 and weighing in at 300 pounds of pure muscle, The Maniac looked like he came right out of the WWE.
In 2008, he debuted at Snakepit/PWSA and after winning the 2009 Summer Rumble, he was in the main event against the then Snakepit / PWSA - Pro Wrestling South Australia champion, John E Radic.
The match drew much media attention and drew nearly 500 people to the Playford Civic Centre.
The Maniac didn't win gold that night but in his long and storied career, he has won many championships in many companies all over the country.

His final match was winning the PWSA Wrestle Reunion Rumble in July this year, last eliminating Colossus.
A fitting finish to an illustrious career and only three months later being inducted into the Hall of Fame by long-time rival and friend, John E Radic.
