Along with Black Flag and the Circle Jerks, Fear helped define the sound and style of L.A. hardcore.
Although they actually formed during the first wave of punk back in 1977, Fear didn’t release an album until five years later with 1982’s defining The Record, by which time they’d honed a blistering, thrashy attack that, for all its fury, was surprisingly tight and sometimes even intricate, with tough metal influences and occasional detours into complex time signatures.

Kitty Craft is Pamela Valfer.

Debuting in 1994 with s/t cassette releases & IT’S STUPID EP, Pam’s sound was originally a low-tech affair. 1997’s I GOT RULEZ 7” expanded her sound with keys & sampler, leading to 1998 release of BEATS & BREAKS FROM THE FLOWER PATCH. In 2000, CATSKILLS followed. In 2020 saw return of Kitty Craft w/ “Lost Tapes” in her new forever-home of Los Angeles.

At 18 he made his acting debut on the hit Nickelodeon television show “Victorious.” Since then he’s appeared on “The Big Bang Theory,” “Sam and Cat,” “Gray’s Anatomy,” and in movies like “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl,” “Bridesmaids,” and “Stanford Prison Experiment. In 2023 you can catch Matt on the road with his new DJ night Party101, a throwback celebration of music from Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.
