We tried something new this year, a flower garden for my pollinators . Thanks to my flower gardener who made this all possible! These beauties were picked today. is bursting with color and wildlife.

Spicy roast potatoes with tahini and soy. Delicious
I know, sounds….well, it’s DELICIOUS ! Roasted butternut, orange and sage galette. Packed with roasted veg, buttery crust, decadent filling and FLAVOR!
One of my favorite dinners this year! Roasted Kabocha squash fondue with crispy sage. Perfect in every way.

Rose petal granola. We love to eat flowers in my kitchen! These roses came from my organic flower garden. It can take 10-14 days to fully dry the petals, sometimes a bit longer. We store them in glass jars or tubes so the colors and types can be easily seen for usage. They smell divine too.
Snowy and cold = big bowl of pasta. Sauce: Parmesan thyme cream. Veg: Roasted butternut squash. Extras: Confit garlic and buttery fried shallot panko. = To die for.
Cheesy artichokes on grilled olive bread. Practice makes perfect.
Yard work never tasted or looked so good.
Eat pretty salads off French vintage plates. I promise, it tastes better! LOL! Kale, miso roasted sweet potato, chicken sausage, pickled red onion, fresh herbs, pepitas seeds and end of season edible flowers. Ginger lime vinaigrette. DE-LIC-IOUS

It’s impossible to eat all the zucchini or, you like to-may-to and I like to- mah—to’s from my garden, but we’re trying! Zucchini mint fritters and roasted herby tomatoes.
The field across from the barn has wild Concord grape vines and 1000’s of beautiful red clover flowers. It’s half the length of the field, growing like a crazy wonderland. It made the most delicious decadent sorbet. Of course, we couldn’t forget the sugar cones! The colors are unbelievable! I wish you could taste this.
As summer winds down we’re getting things done. 1. Drying our tomatoes for later use. 2. Picking our Concord grapes for something delicious. 3. Tom, the farmer across the street haying the fields. Our hay feeds the animals on the other two farms on our street! We love how full circle this community is.

I knowwww, it’s winter…..but, we’re thinking of spring and summer. Recipe testing this delicious lemon vanilla cake with white chocolate rose buttercream frosting! Thanks to our favorite flower shop Pentimento Design for growing the lemon I used in this cake.
