Thinking about my Scottish roots on Scotland's national day.

Had a blast in Glasgow a few years back going round all the Billy Connolly murals. I'd live there in a heartbeat if their weather was half as good as their comedians and their food!

The day this Canadian chef was not so abroad 🇨🇦

Was cool to trip around the Canada Water neighbourhood of London.

All the buildings are named after places in Canada, because this was where all the ships coming in from Canada used to dock.

Found out it's where the famous pilgrim ship The Mayflower left from in the 1600's and there's even a pub named after it. So much cool history here!

Every year I think I'll make some dishes with the pumpkins after Halloween and this year I did! Spicy Pumpkin Soup, salt and vinegar roasted pumpkin seeds, and a Pumpkin Pie with chocolate and orange that we shared with friends at a fireworks night party. Not bad for a couple pumpkins that cost under £5.

Don't think anything can beat the King Kong costume we did a few years back at a party in Canada though. Best costume ever! 👑🦍

I'm doing a quick stall on top of 'Cheddar Gorge' in Somerset. I'm on top of the caves that Cheddar Cheese 🧀originates from, the locals made the cheese and aged it in the caves below. Cheddar cheese is the most widely used cheese in the world and, let's be honest, DELICIOUS 🤤🧀
