We are an event-design company based in Mexico and, while our focus is Cabo San Lucas and the Riviera Maya, we happily traipse all over Mexico designing and creating unique, one-of-a-kind weddings and events. I love all things weddings, all things unique, all things "wow"!

Every detail matters. Sometimes my designs take me a hot minute. It’s because I’m imagining them together. Like a musical piece. And I edit. And edit. And edit some more until yes, there it is just right. Some designs come easily. But there is always one part of a wedding design that I have to work out and turn over and over to ensure that it all comes together start to finish. And when I finally have my “ah-ha” moment about that particular piece of the puzzle, it all clicks into place and just flows.

Why is this so important to me? Because I believe if you set the ambience and carefully curate the atmosphere, the love and joy and energy you and your guests bring to the table will create a magical synergy you don’t just see, but is felt and becomes such an important part of your story that it is unforgettable. I do believe in the saying that people remember how you make them FEEL and, for me, this is co-creating a feeling and intrinsic memory that you will be able to cherish and rekindle in the years to come.

Anyone who knows me well knows I am a BIG fan of a really good cocktail. I mean, if you’re going to go to all the trouble to mix up a drink, then I think it should be tasty and beautiful! Mexico has this down y’all! Especially here in Todos Santos there are so so so many incredible mixologists. Jorge from .ts being one of my all time favorite people not to mention amazing bartender!

Now, who’s ready for a spicy Jamaica mezcalita with a twist?!!

Had so much fun with this old vintage car during their couples shoot after the wedding. Todos Santos has an amazing downtown backdrop with colonial adobe buildings and old brick. It was & Philip’s idea and I am over the moon happy they had it. Because the joy is in the photos!!

Y’all these watercolor hand painted table markers I am still OBSESSED with. I come up with the ideas but then my sister (yep, heard that right - we are family orientated like nobody’s business!) Yaz takes my ideas and makes them SO MUCH better. But it’s also our clients taking my awful drawings and using their imaginations and trusting us with their story who allow it all to come to fruition. Blessed for sure, grateful always. One of the things I love so much about what we do is how every event and couple is so very different and unique. It’s not just the decor that’s different - it’s the vibe and the energy and the whole ambience. And once everyone is pulled together it manifests into a once in a lifetime experience. And it starts today!

Absolutely loved Lauren & Andrew’s moody, romantic, desert meets a touch of tropics decor … and am equally as excited for Emma & Brian’s wildflower meets desert vibe we have going on tomorrow. 💕

So when you say you want a private intimate wedding, you mean kindof like this? 😉.

México is so nuanced. You want all inclusive? Got it. You want cobblestone streets and fun night time vibe? Got it. You want a hacienda feel? Got that too! Desert? Mountains? Beach? Amazing food, delicious cocktails (and mock tails!), warm people, incredible service? All the yesssss! Let us help you choose the area and space that is right for you! We only take a handful of weddings a season because the detail and hand crafted projects we do take time and I’d rather do a few really well vs cookie cutter anything. Only thing good about cookie cutter is if there are actually cookies involved (preferably oatmeal chocolate chip ones!).

Feliz Día de Los Mu***os. I usually love doing my altar every year but these last two months have taken a bit out of me. We lost my 97 year old Uncle a few weeks ago and our family is so incredibly small that each loss hits particularly hard. So I will light a candle. And I will remember my loved ones. But our celebration will be small this year.

I love weddings this time of year. As Mexico views this period as the time when the veil between life and death is so very thin, we view it more as a celebration than anything. So having the start of a marriage around this time just adds a nuance to it that I find very soulful and full of meaning. Add to that a bride and groom full of heart and style and you have an incredible celebration!

We are T minus 11 days to returning to for Brian & Emma’s wedding and I am so excited!! We have some new furniture we are working on, some incredible design details and some dance floor lighting I have NEVER seen done and cannot wait to do!!!

Meanwhile, we are going to enjoy some photos from Lauren & Andrew’s soirée there last year. Love these pictures and miss them dearly. So grateful for having the most amazing clients!!

These next few days I will be setting up my altar for Dia de Los Mu***os. For me, it is a way to remember my loved ones, tell their stories, eat their favorite foods and hold onto the love we shared.

Sometimes we get to add elements to a wedding celebration that happens around this time because it also means something to our couples. Although the Northern Hemisphere is very much about Halloween it might surprise you that there are parts of Mexico with a definite nod to Halloween as well because kids, costumes, candy!! And then, of course concurrent. we have the excitement leading into “Day of the Dead” and the music, the altars, the food all moving into a juxtaposition celebration of life and death.

Over the last few years Todos Santos has really embraced this celebration and each year they have festivities, and story telling, candle light and food, music and dancing and love to share it with anyone who would like to learn and experience it. Definitely not a bad time of year to get married and share the experience with your guests as Lauren & Andrew did!

I’ll be sharing their wedding celebrations over the next few days including the rehearsal dinner which was a very fun beautiful gathering highlighting Dia de Los Mu***os and sharing my own personal altar here in Montana!
