An artistic and motivated entrepreneur with a variety of skills and talents, who loves to learn and experience new things.
Born in 1992, William Z. Nagy was 3 years old when his father put him on a dirt bike. He grew up doing so with his younger brother, Alex, going to races every single weekend, hours away from our hometown, in almost every state in the country.
After 17 years of racing, and five Oklahoma state championships, Nagy found himself graduating high school barely 17, with no idea what career he wanted to pursue. After spending most of his childhood racing dirt bikes, he had a thought he might continue to do that.
Unfortunately, that's not the route his parents were planning on going. Considering motocross is expensive, Nagy realized that he was going to have to focus on a new career path. He didnât know where to begin, but he knew wherever it went, he would be his own boss.
With a new sense of direction and determination, Nagy moved away in 2013 from his hometown of Altus, OK, 5 hours to Tulsa, OK, where he began to indulge in the music scene. Being the social butterfly he is, he came to befriend many local talented producers, DJâs and hip-hop artists. Networking and promoting these artists became all too easy for Nagy. Now having a good networking baseline, Nagy began to help expand the artistsâ reach, while it also broadened Nagy's name, ultimately amplifying his networking reach even further, meeting as many people as in as many areas as possible.
Naturally while being in the music scene, Nagy began to mix and produce a bit himself, although he is not as good as he buddies, he definitely respects the work his friends and others put in to make tracks sound so good.
Throughout the years in the music scene, Nagy befriended a hip-hip artist and found himself being offered 49% ownership in a clothing company, called Toasted Outfits, out of Tulsa. Having been around since 2010, the company was struggling to get off the ground, (having a page with only 150 likes), and its founder was looking to bring more attention to the brand than ever.
After a year of hard work, dedicated marketing strategies, setting up business accounts, and finalizing distributors and materials, the company was doing better than ever. Social media impact increased to over 2,000+ likes and engagements, we had 2 exclusive drops, and Nagy started to see this was something he really enjoyed.
After the quick year of success, Nagy and the founder began to disagree on the future of the company, and decided it was better to part ways and Nagy to create his own. Having gained a ton of good experience from co-running this company, he decided he was going to create a good clothing company, and call it something clever.... like Very Good Clothing.
With a Business degree in his sights, a company to build while he does it, Nagy plans to certify and obtain licenses in various career paths as he continues to learn every day.
2019: CANNABIS CONSULTANT
SQ778 - June 26th, 2018, Oklahoma voted to legalize medical Ma*****na.
William has been an advocate for the decriminalization and regulation of medical and recreational cannabis since 2010, when he first researched the dangers (or lack thereof) of cannabis before trying it after graduating high school. Realizing it helped him focus and calmed down his ADHD, helped him sleep at night (Insomnia), increased his appetite, put him in a great mood, and had no adverse side effects, he saw that this was not a âdangerousâ drug at all.
After finding Patent No. 6,630,507 (Government patent on cannabis plant compounds, CBD, THC, CBN) William instantly became passionate about the advocation and education of our people on the secret benefits being suppressed by our government.
Read below a WORD-FOR-WORD statement from the findings in Oct 7, 2003.
Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants
Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoi, (CBD), are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention.
That being said, William has been in and around the underground cannabis community since he was 16 years old. Being the likable, outgoing guy he is, he realized he knew many people who used, sold, or grew cannabis. Most of those who grew eventually moved to Colorado, after being legalized in 2012, to pursue their passions legally, without fear of arrest.
Before the main boom of the internet, information regarding grow techniques and hunting down rare or specific strains was literally luck and patience.
The fear of yields suffering kept many growers from straying away from the tried and true strategies that they knew work, but as more information became public, more experiments started to prove there were many ways to grow top quality cannabis.
Over the years, Nagy has consulted with many patients and business owners alike, about the proper use, cultivation, and processing of cannabis because he sees first hand how many people this one plant can benefit, including himself.
