The KGW Team introductions continue…

Meet our wonderful team of wedding day assistants and executive admin.

Taylor is a full-time daycare director and it’s actually how Kaitie and her met! She is married and has two kiddos and the most precious fur baby named Jackson. Taylor has dreams to open up her very own wedding venue one day and truly enjoys getting to see all the behind-the-scenes on wedding days. And, her and her aunt just launched a storefront called Kinfolk Acres in the Benton/Bryant area!

Lynley is our executive admin and assists on wedding days when home from college. Lynley helps Kaitie’s brain stay sane which is no easy feat. As KGW’s executive administrator, she literally helps with a little bit of everything. She is passionate about dance and her sorority, Delta Gamma. She currently attends UofA working on her degree in Public Health and is a pre-physician assistant. She’s a go-getter, if you can’t tell.

Carley recently graduated from UCA with her degree in nursing and is a full-time labor and delivery nurse. To say she’s great with helping in emotional circumstances, is an understatement. She loves to travel and also LOVES dogs and has two of her own, Asher and Willie.

Last but not least, Jessica thrives in the details of wedding days. Planning events is one of her love languages and making sure couples (& their families) don’t have to worry with the logistics on wedding day is something she is passionate about. Outside of weddings, she is a proud dog mom and boutique owner (DS Capsule) with an eye for minimalist design.

Meet “The Nicole’s” who are also principal planners on the KGW Team. To know them, is to love them and gosh, the KGW Team is better because of them.

Nicole joined the KGW team in September of 2020. You’ll have to ask us how Kaitie and her met. It’s one of those stories where it’s just like - Yep, we are going to be friends for life! Since then, Nicole has become an integral part of KGW and our biggest cheerleader. Her big dream is to one day build her own wedding venue.

Nicole or Gammel, as the KGW Team refers to her as, has truly made our team feel so complete. An epitome of a sweet-spirit, Gammel’s love for helping people just comes so natural. In her spare time you can find her playing golf, watching sports, or sitting outside enjoying the Arkansas weather. She loves to travel, spend time with her church family, and making memories with her family and friends.

Meet Caroline & Wednesday! They are both principal planners on the KGW Team and they truly are lights in every room they enter.

Caroline is an alum of Arkansas State and full-time teacher. She married her husband in October 2021 at one of our favorite venues, Rusty Tractor Vineyards - Home of Sunset Lodge. It was a small world moment when she joined the KGW Team because Kaitie and Caroline actually went to the same church. Caroline loves the wedding industry, but what she loves even more is the title “Aunt” and spoiling her niece and nephew.

Wednesday joined the KGW Team after meeting Kaitie at a wedding show. She’s truly passionate about planning and creating unforgettable memories. When she’s not at a wedding she is traveling, spending time with her husband and kiddos, reading, and studying for her Business Administration, MBA.

Grateful.

This past week part of the KGW Team had the privilege of attending The Wedding MBA in Las Vegas. Words truly cannot express how much I love this group of ladies that KGW has allowed me to get to know. We learned SO much and I can’t wait to implement things learned.

Then, on Saturday, we had our last wedding of 2024. After a busy wedding season in 2023, I decided to try and intentionally keep the holiday season free of weddings this year to be able to spend every possible moment with my family. It has been the absolute best decision.

I can’t wait to share the KGW recap of the 2024 year, but for now, I have an inbox full of emails and am fine-tuning 2025 wedding plans for our 2025 couples. Eek!

Kayleigh Ross Photography came over to take photos of my new office all decked out for Christmas!

& I am beyond excited to show-off the first official photos of my office. This has been a long, long dream that is finally a reality!

I bought this shed in July of 2023 and it took a year to get it perfect. Ryan spent SO MANY nights getting it prepped to be a functional space and, gosh, did he outdid himself.

The KGW office is truly perfect.

Thank you again, Kayleigh, for coming over and capturing my space so well. Your friendship means the world to me & any bride who books you as their photographer is the luckiest.

When the days seem long, I remind myself THIS is why I do what I do. Your wedding day shouldn’t be stressful. You shouldn’t have to worry about a thing. You need to be in the bridal suite singing loud to your favorite love songs with your bridesmaids while you get your hair and makeup done.

Your family and wedding party shouldn’t have to be worried about setting tables or making sure vendors arrive on time because the truth is, no one needs to be watching the clock. You need to be living in each moment fully. All those things listed are my job as your wedding planner and, strangely, I truly love the logistics of it all.

One of the most important things I want you to know is as a KGW couple, your marriage is covered in prayer from the second you inquire. I truly believe prayer is the most important thing we can do for one another in all seasons of life. Not only as a KGW couple are you prayed for, but I truly invest in being your wedding ally.

It’s essential to me that you feel comfortable coming to the KGW team with all the questions, wedding day fears, and ideas. Then, after the wedding day, trust me when I say our team has bittersweet emotions. We are so excited for our couples but know we will miss our conversations. Thank goodness for one good aspect of social media that allows us to follow you in the next and some of the most sweetest seasons of your life together.

Today is the first day in two weeks that I don’t have a meeting. I don’t have to drive anywhere. I don’t have a phone call or zoom call to hop on. & it’s a really, really great feeling. So, today I’m locking myself in my office with no distractions and reviewing all my meeting notes to make sure no detail has been left to the wayside. 💜

Also, can we talk about how breathtaking LeCole is? She is the epitome of a beautiful bride. And, those purple flowers, I mean… gorgeous!!

I never wanted to be a wedding planner.

It wasn't a lifelong dream, nor did I study design or business administration in college. Even after planning my own wedding, it wasn't something I considered.

However, I would discover my love for the industry and begin to feel this tug on my heart that would begin to lead me down a path of lots of learning and researching on what it means to be self-employed towards the end of 2016.

And now as I take a quick break from sending planning update emails to all my wonderful 2025 couples, I just can't help but share God's goodness and faithfulness that He has scattered all across my business.

Because here's the thing when you discover your God-given purpose in life, everything changes. Even in the midst of my own uncertainty and feeling very inadequate, His greatness gets to shine so all glory can be given to Him.

So, while being a wedding planner wasn't initially on my radar, I am grateful to have found myself exactly where God intended me to be.
