Jayhawk Slam Tourney

What a way to end our regular season today. We had another full gym of kiddos who absolutely wrestled their tales off and gave some amazing effort. I seen kids wrestle some extremely tough competition, up weight classes, up age groups, against teammates, and on and on and STILL they kept wrestling!!! I will be going over the rest of season schedule and Districts practices this week (depending on weather, ugh) so keep an eye out for updates. Thanks to all of our coaches and parents today. You guys were awesome.

-With incoming weather. We will be taking our picture on TUESDAY FEB, 11TH!!! Time will still be around 7:00 (right after 1st practice). Try to wear a WKM T-Shirt if you have one and we will get a quick team photo for this season. Hope to see as many as possible!!!!

Ottawa Mat Masters Tourney:

This club just continues to amaze me with the amount of AMAZING kiddos and parents that continue to grow this to a point that I would have never imagined!! I am about to list of 45 kids who wrestled today and we had another 5 not be able to compete because of the nasty bug going around which would have put us at FIFTY KIDS..........5-0!!!!! Listening to our crowd cheer on our kids and hearing those roars NEVER gets old, I bleeping LOVE it!!!! Great job today from everyone. It ended up being a pretty tough setup with brackets and the competition was awesome. I thought our kids really stepped up and faced the challenge really well.

Another great day down in Burlington!! We had our ups and downs throughout the day, but taking a step back and taking it all in there was A LOT of awesome wrestling today by our kiddos!!! Few easy things to clean up and this years team is going to be extremely tough and extremely fun to watch.
