Ladycat Girls Tourney

-Our ladies went up to Basehor to get their matches in!! Bummed I couldn't be at both places to watch and see them, but I tried to keep updated and got a full rundown from some coaches. Sounds like we had some girls getting after it and I love it!!!

Central Heights Tourney

-What a crazy way to start the year!!! We had a lot of smiles out there, a few tears, little bit of blood and hopefully just a good time watching our little dudes and gals get after it. ****ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INFORMATION****

Wrestling is a GROWING sport!!! This is AWESOME and extremely fun to see, but it also comes with a little frustration. Tournaments are filling up EXTREMELY fast this year!! We are working on getting everything lined out for everyone as simple as possible. Here is what we have going:

Tournament Schedule:

01-04/05: OFF for the Weekend (BVSW filled up and there isn't a good option for anywhere else this weekend, sorry!!)

01-11: Manhattan (Saturday) - This is our annual TRAVEL weekend tournament. This is a club effort "fun" weekend for the kids. Come stay in a hotel. It will have an indoor pool for the whole family. The club will provide a dinner while swimming and just have a FUN weekend!!

01-19: Burlington (Sunday) Great tourney for Novice and Open Kids!!!

01-25: Paola (Saturday) Tourney is for OPEN KIDS ONLY!!!!

02-02: Ottawa (Sunday) NEW Tourney and hoping its a good one for both Open and Novice!

02-08/09: OFF Weekend

02-16: Jayhawk Linn (Sunday) Another great tourney for both Open and Novice kids

****OFF until Districts - March 7th and 8th****

-Here's the INFO part!!! We NEED you to sign up for ALL Tournaments NOW!!!! Deadline will be next Monday, December 23rd. This will hopefully allow us to get everyone in every tournament before they fill up.

-REMINDER: Your child WILL HAVE to weigh in for EVERY tournament!!!! That weigh in will be the DAY BEFORE the tournament (Tournament on Saturday - we will weigh in Friday night. Tournament on Sunday - we will weigh in Saturday morning). THIS IS MANDATORY!!! You must be able to attend weigh ins to wrestle in the tournament. Please don't ask to weigh in on a different day!!

-We are OFF from practice for a little bit for the XMAS break!!! Our next scheduled practice is for Thursday, January 2nd. If you have ANY questions about any of this please reach out and we will try to help everyone out as quickly and easy as possible. Thanks everyone!!!
