KFM Events are stoked and excited to announce that our Director, Kristen Finnigan won the Event Organiser Extraordinaire Award at the Visit Northern Tasmania Champions of Tourism awards on Thursday night! ✨To be nominated by peers and to actually win amongst a fabulous group of finalists is so humbling.

As you can see, we’re super excited and pretty proud! We manage around 10-15 events every year, some of them very large and high profile, and to be recognised in this way makes all the hard work and long hours totally worth it! 🎉🏆🥇

Some garden craft events for all ages!

ABC TV’s Gardening Australia presenter and ‘Good Life Growing author’, Hannah Moloney will join us as part of the Masterclass and Demonstration programs presented with the support of Community Bank Deloraine & Districts. Hannah's workshops will be held in the auditorium on Saturday and Sunday of the fair.

🍃 10:30-11:30am: THE CRAFT OF PERMACULTURE
Learn how Hannah has applied the craft of permaculture to her home, garden and community to create and share a good life for herself and others. Permaculture is all about living harmoniously with nature. You’ll get insights into how to save money, tips on growing your own food, steep slope gardening and great ways to minimise impact on the planet.

🌻 1-2pm: DIRTY HANDS, HAPPY HEARTS
A super fun workshop for all the family to learn how to craft some Sunflower seed balls to take home to plant and create some garden pots from Newspapers! Thanks to for supplying the seeds (and our volunteers who will probably have to clean up after). :-P
