Two years ago today, during lockdown, I challenged myself to learn how to draw and I completed my first drawing!
It was an embarrassing attempt 🤣 but everyone has to start somewhere!

So far this year, my diary has been fully booked with commissions! I never expected that first drawing to lead to such an amazing journey!

When my work can bring so much joy to another person, it makes every second of what I do so much more important to me!

What a relief! The drawing I sent off to America has arrived safely today and is now in it's new home with it's new owner!
I don't like to share people's personal messages to me on here but I can say the customer was over the moon which makes me very happy 💗

Last week I said I couldn't show you what I am working on at the moment but I have just been given permission to share my progress pics with you all! 💗💗
There's still a very long way to go on this drawing but I'm loving how it's coming along! 😍

I wish I could show you all the portrait 🎨 I'm working on at the moment because I'm quite excited about how it's turning out 🤗 but until it has been received, I can't risk the person recognising themselves in the drawing! 😯

For those of you who don't know, there's been quite a few changes over the last few months!

First of all, I am no longer 'The Card Lady' however, you will still find the same great greeting cards in the same place!
There's a new card lady in town 🤣 please show her the same support all you lovely customers gave to me! 💗

So, what am I doing with myself if I'm not at the market?
I've decided to take some time to concentrate on my portrait drawings and other art 🎨

As you can see, I have changed the name of the page from 'partybox' to 'Ria Reekie Art and Gifts' and I will be working over the next few weeks to change the content of the page!
