🚨 The 2023 tourism numbers are in! 🚨 Visitors to Rutherford County spent an incredible $772.8M last year, marking a 3.78% increase from 2022! 🏨🍽️🚗 This spending generated $46M in state tax revenue and $29.7M in local tax revenue, supporting 5,196 jobs right here in our community. 🌟

💬 "Rutherford County continues to thrive as a top destination in Tennessee, thanks to the hard work of our local businesses and tourism partners," said Thomas Laird, Chair of Visit Rutherford TN.

Tourism keeps our economy strong and helps reduce taxes for local households by $619. 👏

JoJo's Fish House & Kickin Coop Organizes Food Drive and Meal Giveaway for Murfreesboro Residents

Murfreesboro, TN – November 3, 2023 – JoJo's Fish House, formerly known as The Fish House, is proud to announce its partnership with several local businesses and entrepreneurs in the community to host a food drive. Donations will be accepted through November 21, 2023. The event aims to support families in need during the upcoming holiday season.

The charitable initiative, spearheaded by Joseph “Jo Jo” Herbert, owner of JoJo's Fish House and Kickin Coop, located at 1626 Middle Tennessee Blvd, in Murfreesboro, will focus on collecting canned food, nonperishable items, and household supplies.

Community members are encouraged to contribute by dropping off their donations at the restaurant. To show appreciation for their generosity, donors will receive a 10% discount on their next visit to JoJo's Fish House and will also be automatically entered to win 2 tickets to a Tennessee Titans game.

The donated items will be redistributed to local organizations that provide essential support to elderly residents, homeless individuals, and low-income families within the Murfreesboro community. In addition to these efforts, $20 gift cards will be given to 10 deserving teens.

"We are excited to join forces with other community-minded businesses and individuals to make a positive impact in Murfreesboro," said Jo Jo Herbert. "Our goal is to provide essential support to those who need it most, especially during the holiday season. We invite everyone to come together and contribute to this meaningful cause."
