Glacier National Park in Montana was established as a National Park in 1910 and houses 1 million acres of land filled with mountains, glaciers, incredible wildlife, and beauty in every corner. In our humble opinions, Glacier is one of the prettiest parks in the U.S. filled with epic views that would make an incredible backdrop for an intimate elopement.

Not to mention, it has 700+ miles of hiking trails that vary in difficulty and extraordinary views. So far, Glacier’s backcountry is one of the best we’ve experienced in our hiking adventures as well.

I know we are talking it up, but we have visited Glacier twice and it's just incredible. We have hopes to go back and experience some new hiking routes that we are eager to explore. Basically, what we are saying is that Glacier National Park never ceases to amaze us. If you and your person love mountain views and want to get married in them, then a Glacier National Park elopement might be the answer you’ve been looking for.

Being in the mountains fills us with joy, creativity, and peace. It was a magical evening in the mountains at Glacier National Park escaping from the busy world with Leah, Luke, + their dog, Aspen.

The sun was shining over the mountains, the waterfall was cool and refreshing, the pines were gently blowing in the breeze along with the ripples in the lake. The experience didn't feel real because the scene was just too beautiful.

The way that Leah and Luke were around each other was playful, happy, and comfortable. They know each other well and were completely themselves in front of the camera. Leah and Luke hiked to a gorgeous waterfall where they read love letters to one another with the rushing water behind them. They ate their favorite candies on the rocky shore of a lake at sunset and splashed in the water until it was dark.

Love stories like this melt our hearts and we love celebrating each one. Big thank you to Leah + Luke for modeling for this mountain elopement creative experience! 🥰

Fall photos are just around the corner! 🍂 Scroll through these images for some fun ways to make your session unique to you and read below for tips and ideas. ⬇️

Activities and movement can take your photos from being good, to representing you and telling a story. Here are some of our favorite ideas for families:
-Bring a book that means something to you or one that you all are currently reading through. Read a few pages of it together during your session.
-Is there a park you love to visit together, then go for a walk there for your session.
-Have a fire pit in your backyard? A campfire and some s'mores might be the perfect fit for a cozy evening session.
-Play, tickle, dance, and explore during your session—whatever fits you—and you will see your personalities and joy in a very natural state.
-If you have pets, bring them! Bring a leash and go for a walk with them or even have some fun running around or snuggling them. They are a part of your family too.

Golden hour in the desert just hits differently and this evening with Hope and Josiah was no different. The 100+ degree day was starting to cool off with a lovely breeze just for this. Looking up you couldn't help but be captivated by the golden turned pink colors as the evening went on. The mountains hugged us from all sides as we explored between the cacti. The way that Hope and Josiah looked at each other created a beautiful warmth. They were at ease in one another's presence and not worried about the camera. These two were full of joy, laughter, and sweetness. They shared love letters with one another, played guitar together, and ran through the desert holding hands. Cheers to more love stories like this. 🥂

If you and your person love exploring cities together, then you should have downtown Indianapolis engagement photos taken! A city like Indy offers a lot of cool locations to make your Indianapolis engagement photos unique and perfectly fitting for your love story. From arcades to parking garages with epic views and everything in between, why not get your engagement photos taken in downtown Indianapolis?!

For a couple like Sami + Cole, they wanted something different from engagement photos in a meadow or on a hiking trail. But more importantly, they wanted photos that represented their love story. This took some brainstorming as we thought through all the amazing locations around Indy that might fit the ticket for Sami + Cole. We communicated often and collaborated as we figured out the details. When we got everything planned, it was cool to see how their love story intertwined with the locations chosen.

The full video of Josh and Rachel's engagement is here! A surprise proposal in front of a waterfall-how romantic is that!? Josh popped the question and asked Rachel to be his wife in front of the falls at Cataract Falls State Park. It was a gorgeous day in May during sunset. Rachel was so surprised, and their genuine emotion and true joy over their engagement was beautiful to behold. When Josh reached out to us to help pull off his surprise, we were beyond excited because it is an honor to capture epic life moments like this in the lives of the couples we are blessed to serve.

On May 7, 2022, Josh proposed to Rachel in front of Cataract Falls with the most gorgeous sunset lighting them.
