Hello! Nice to meet you. Dreamwood is a creative team of Michael and Lucy Dreamwood. Michael is a wedding cinematographer and second photographer.

We will memorialize your special day by creating a video that you fall in love with, one that you will not only want to watch time and time again but also one that you will want to show your children and grandchildren someday. Our business combines two of our mutual passions: photography and traveling. Lucy is a photographer and second videographer. We try to combine simpl

e, pure frames with the emotional moments to perfectly capture our clients’ special day. Shooting is always a kind of magic, when life and the current moment freeze inside a small camera to save wonderful memories. Most of all, we love to photograph people--their feelings, emotions, and of course, their love! And if people lift the veil from their own world, where their love lives and allow us to take a careful look at it, then this is the real and the most powerful inspiration for us to create memories through film. We highly appreciate the deep spiritual world, simplicity, sincerity, honest emotions, naturalness and of course, love. It is from love that the most beautiful aspects of this world begin. There are moments you will always want to remember, invaluable moments of intimacy and family creation, when all your relatives and beloved friends are near you, tears of joy and laughter, warm embraces of dear people, words of congratulations. We capture these priceless moments and turn them into a work of art. The quality of our work and approach has become world renowned. In recent years, we have filmed in the US, China, Italy, France, Indonesia, Finland, Spain, Thailand, India, the Philippines, Greece, Abkhazia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia.

Reflecting on an Incredible 2023 Wedding Season 🎉

As we approach the end of another remarkable wedding season, I, Mikhail Nilov, the head of Dreamwood Films, find myself filled with immense gratitude and respect. This year, we had the honor of capturing 119 beautiful weddings, and it’s humbling to know that nearly 100 couples have already entrusted us with their special day for the coming year.

To our amazing brides and grooms: Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey. Your trust in us to encapsulate the essence of your love and joy has been the driving force behind our work. Each laugh, tear, and tender moment has been a privilege to witness and preserve.

To my tireless team: Your dedication and passion are the heartbeats of Dreamwood Films. Day and night, you pour your souls into creating not just videos and photographs, but timeless stories. Your commitment to excellence, even if it means working through the night, ensures that each couple receives their cherished memories promptly and perfectly.

This year has been a testament to trust and quality - evident in the overwhelming response for next year’s bookings. We receive about 10 inquiries daily, and if you’re dreaming of a Dreamwood Films wedding, I urge you to reach out soon to secure your date.

Additionally, my heartfelt thanks extend to our colleagues and the brides who have supported us. This year, their votes led us to triumph in the prestigious California Wedding Awards.
