This photo was from last weekend, consisting of just 3, YES JUST THREE, of the 8 different tapas you will get as part of the feast night for ยฃ30! ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป

- Butchers chicken pinchos ๐Ÿค
- Chorizo cooked in Sam's cider ๐Ÿ
- Sourdough tostada, topped with heritage tomatoes and anchovies. ๐Ÿ…

As always those tomatoes are fantastic and do the talking for that dish. ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿป
The chorizo sausages were fried off with caramelized onions and Sam's cider until sticky, sweet, spicy, salty and just all the delicious things you want in a mouthful! ๐Ÿ˜‹
The chicken had been marinating for a couple of days and was packed full of those traditional Southern Spanish flavours, paprika, oregano, cumin and garlic. ๐Ÿคค

Wow! Our Fusion Feast - Spanish tapas night was AMAZING at . Thanks to everyone who came and Sam and Jim for letting us invade their beautiful pub. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

The night kicked off with some lovely warm crusty bread. Beautiful olives from the , balsamic, olive oil and some delicious whipped paprika butter with smoked Cornish sea salt! ๐Ÿซ’

A great example of tying Spanish cuisine to fantastic local produce. And if I do say so myself that butter was to die for. Made all the better using some of the best paprika around ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Fusion Feasts - Thai street food - Main course!

๐Ÿ› Chicken and potato massaman curry.
๐Ÿœ Market vegetable pad Thai.
๐Ÿš Sticky jasmine rice.
๐Ÿฅฌ Sesame pak choy.

Oof that main was an absolute FEAST last week. The massaman was super punchy, fragrant and morrish. The pad Thai was full of delicious veggies, the radish just absolutely popped. Paired with the rice and one of my favorites, pak choy, it certainly went down well with everyone. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Spanish night tomorrow at the is coming along nicely in the prep kitchen.
Followed by Spanish again next week at the ! See you there. ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป

The new boards from came in absolutely wonderfully for our Thai night last weekend! ๐Ÿชš๐Ÿชต

The sharing starter consisted of, Market vegetable spring rolls, tempura king prawns, local honey marinated pork skewers. All served with a homemade Thai dipping sauce. ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿค
This certainly went down well and all being one of those big boards brought the wow factor when it arrived at the table! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Well it's safe to say Thai night was a great success over at The Rams Head Inn . Many thanks to all of the staff, the Rams for allowing us to host, and of course all of the customers and their kind words. Pics to follow ๐Ÿ“ธ

The next available date is for Spanish Tapas on the 26th of October over at The Devil's Stone Inn in Shebbear. Just as before this is a FEAST evening. For ยฃ30 per head you get EVERYTHING on the menu for your table to share. You will not leave hungry and in the meantime taste some delicious, authentic Spanish food, using lots of local produce! ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

So as mentioned in my previous video the events we have coming up in October are as follows;

"Braised hogget, pomme Dauphine, textures of carrot, salsa Verde, jus" ๐Ÿด๐ŸŒฟ

I was absolutely stoked about this dish over at . Getting to use their own reared hogget was a particular treat! ๐Ÿ‘

The hogget shoulders we slowly braised, pulled and then pressed. They possessed just an amazing complex taste right from the get go.
Followed up by a classic albeit not often used pomme Dauphine. Essentially mash crossed with choux and deep-fried to create crispy yet fluffy balls of delight! ๐Ÿฅ”

Textures of carrot came in the form of organic heritage carrots. A silky smooth and rich puree paired with a carrot braised in white wine and butter really brought this dish together. ๐Ÿฅ•

All finished off with a punchy and bright salsa Verde, and a deep and unctuous red wine jus. ๐Ÿท

It's safe to say the feedback was more than I could have asked for ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
