We catered for a wonderful private dinner over the weekend! The evening kicked off with some delicious canapes and of course a glass of champagne or two, a perfect way to start an evening. 🥂

This time we had some classic Smoked salmon blinis, with whipped horseradish cream and salmon caviar. Also some halloumi and courgette fritters with mint yoghurt. They certainly went down well, and woke those appetites up for the main event. 🐟🥒

Fancy having a dinner party, but want to be able to relax with your guests. We can provide you a delicious menu, set up, cooked, served and cleaned by Joe and his team. All for a similar cost to eating out, it's cheaper than you might think! 🤯

Phew! It's been a busy few weeks.
We've been doing our well received Fusion Feast nights, which will be back in the new year. Keep an eye out for menus soon! 📝

Joe has been covering as a relief chef a fair bit too in some local pubs. Something that we regularly offer, enabling your chefs to take some well needed time off, stop you worrying about unreliable and overpriced agencies, and relax knowing you have a professional and proficient cover. 👨🏻‍🍳

Lastly it's time for us to take a short break this week to recover and catch up with some family. 😌
HOWEVER we shall be back and in full swing into the private dining season. 🍽️

A special moment last weekend. My mum and dad came to help out Sarah and I at our Spanish tapas feast night. Getting to cook with my mum was a pleasure. Being a chef herself I took a lot of inspiration from her growing up, and wouldn't be doing what I'm doing now without that. And as always my dad's full of wisdom, ideas and fantastic feedback which paired with Sarah's front of house expertise made us a ruddy good team! 👨🏻‍🍳

Fusion Feast nights are probably done for this year but WE WILL BE BACK! have invited us back in the early parts of next year, which we are super greatful and excited about. 🙏🏻

This photo was from last weekend, consisting of just 3, YES JUST THREE, of the 8 different tapas you will get as part of the feast night for £30! 🇪🇸💃🏻

- Butchers chicken pinchos 🐤
- Chorizo cooked in Sam's cider 🍏
- Sourdough tostada, topped with heritage tomatoes and anchovies. 🍅

As always those tomatoes are fantastic and do the talking for that dish. 🤌🏻
The chorizo sausages were fried off with caramelized onions and Sam's cider until sticky, sweet, spicy, salty and just all the delicious things you want in a mouthful! 😋
The chicken had been marinating for a couple of days and was packed full of those traditional Southern Spanish flavours, paprika, oregano, cumin and garlic. 🤤

This is the sharing dessert for your table to enjoy. A trip of Spanish delights! 😮

🍮Creme Catalan with flavours of lemon and cinnamon.
🍊Valencia orange cake with whipped vanilla cream.
🍫Dark chocolate and olive oil mousse.

All the desserts went down well at last week's event. Especially that mousse! A quote from a customer was "it's so wrong its right, I couldn't stop going back". The olive oil just adds another layer of flavour, complexity and smoothness. 😜
