The Sanctuary Music Club is a new music club, established to bring great music, of all styles and genres to the hills in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, ranging from Healesville to Emerald, Warburton and Belgrave and places in between. y, and noticing there was a lack of cool, indie music venues in the hills and therefore a lack of live music available, decided to change that and start a whole new venture – Sanctuary Music Club, which will offer a different kind of experience to the hills music lovers. We will kick off the launch of the Sanctuary Music Club with a very special show at the Mecca Theatre in Warbarton with legendary Australian guitarist Jeff Lang. The Mecca is a gorgeous theatre seating 170, so those attending the very first Sanctuary Music Club will be treated to a very special show by Jeff and band for a very special price on Saturday, September 17th. The Mecca provides an attractive alternative to those who are tired of driving to the city to see acts that would never usually venture east for shows, with an 8pm start and 11pm finish time, it means it’s not a late night and long drive home. As Sanctuary Music Club continues to grow, we will be utilizing venues across the hills to regularly bring great music to area, including intimate, exclusive shows by artists including Tim Rogers, Lior, Blackchords and many more to be announced soon.
