Our Story
Polar Princesses LLC started as a dream, a seemingly crazy idea to bring beloved storybook characters to life in the name of creating magic for children in need. Back in 2015, our owner Kristin fell in love with the optimism and determination she saw in the princesses and used that to help her through a rough time in her life. She realized, after attending the 2015 Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis walk, that the morals and themes of the princesses stories were those that needed to be shared with as many people as possible. She made a commitment right then and there to make it possible for the young and young at heart to meet these beloved characters.
A while later, during her freshman year of college, Kristin opened Polar Princesses LLC and started attending more and more events across central Pennsylvania. From charity walks and birthday parties to riverboat cruises and restaurant visits, the companies outreach continued to grow. In December of 2017, just a few months after opening, one of Kristin’s biggest dreams came true when The Ice Princess was able to visit Janet Weis Children’s Hospital over Christmas. She sang her heart out and met some of the strongest kiddos she has ever known. It was such a heartwarming and wonderful experience that the princesses have been invited back a few times since! As a company Polar Princesses maintains it commitment to charity and continues to be active among several charity foundations across the state.
Our mission statement is simple, bring happiness, excitement and love to everyone the princesses have the pleasure of meeting. We make it our duty to teach self acceptance and kindness in all situations. At our very foundation, we believe that everyone has the ability to change the world and even if its for just one person, that’s what we intend to do!
