I love vintage VW’s. I love music. The two had to mesh somehow.
Then, we hit it big when the #ChalkBus was featured in The Royal Engineers “Hit It and Do It Again” music video: https://www.facebook.com/theroyalengineersmusic/videos/1176885479027438/
And now, in The #ChalkBus Sessions. I decided to open up the #ChalkBus as the smallest, coolest, and most mobile venue for gigs around :-). I'm calling them The ChalkBus Sessions. I hope to help local bands get some exposure. Why? Because there is so much great music being created by local musicians that few ever hear.
We’ve had our 1969 Bus since we were first married in college (25+years). I love music. Several years ago I came across the VDUB Sessions in Oklahoma and loved what they did to showcase local musicians. Inspired by them I decided to give it a go here in our area. I hope they will see it as “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” and I thank them for showing me the way.
