What made the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla an Exceptional Experience?
Some of the highlights for us were:
👑 The history - With customs dating back more than 1,000 years, this was an extravaganza of pomp and ceremony, celebration and tradition.
👦 Louis still being a legend – Openly yawning during festivities and developing a new style of Royal waving. Louis is still very much our favourite.
🗡 Unexpected star – Penny Mordaunt stole the show and wowed the Internet with her strength and composure.
🥁 The military – The pinnacle of army pride and precision, an impressive display of the Armed Forces.
🔎 Hidden messages – Queen Camilla’s outfit was a piece of Royal history with a nod to her private life including the names of her children, grandchildren and even the King and Queen’s beloved dogs.
❤️ The human touch – From Charles displaying emotional vulnerability, Kate hugging children on the walkabout and Sophie going for it as the concert, we saw that perhaps they aren’t so different from us after all.
👗 The fashion – The mini-me matching crown trend was exceptional with Kate and Charlotte both dressed in one of The Princess of Wales favourite labels, Alexander McQueen.
🎤 Production values – Every element of the concert was truly mind-blowing. From the setting, the lights, the drones through to the outfits, no detail was overlooked to create a show stopping event.
😮 The drama – Will he won’t he attend? All eyes were on Harry and his every facial expression.
🤝 The legacy - The Big Help Out showcased the best of British and created a meaningful and lasting element to the celebrations.
🫖 The tea parties – Rishi serving tea to Jill Biden was the start of national tea parties bringing communities together.
