Love a plan coming together

Sessions will also include wellbeing practices to assist in teaching techniques of how to engage with your inner caped crusader spirit as well as making a marvellous item to wear

- quiet time for reflection, prompts for writing and yarn and tools for designing

and if you want to make a hat, pair of socks or a blanket, of course you can do that instead

I shall be knitting a cape and holding a raffle at the end of November - let's see how many 30 minutes a day can generat...

Lining digital ducks up day

https://www.primewellbeingfoundation.com/allium-arts/

I've been wanting to promote Allium Arts under the umbrella of Prime Wellbeing Foundation for a while now and today felt like the perfect day

The idea is in the title definition – clusters of variety – and an indication ‘we know our onions’ a collective we come together as artists, crafters, creatives, performers, healers in the art of being My artist prayer Spring painting Drawing as a foundation capturing nature’s patterns Wha...

Feeling inspired, and a really pull to put this out there, maybe it's working already

Inspired by a lady i met on a call this week who had recently completed the 'original' artist's way, i've dusted this off and putting a plan in place

I'll be doing this starting on Sunday 24th November if you'd like to join me

Maybe I’ll get to be more active this Sewvember

Maybe I’ll get to be more active this Sewvember

November is just around the corner which means morsbags Sewvember 2023 is nearly here. morsbags Sewvember is when we make even more morsbags than we usually do.

How to join in making a brilliant difference to our environment :

1) REGISTER your pod (if you haven’t already) at morsbags.org

2) ORDER some labels to put on your fab bags

3) GATHER some fabric to upcycle

4) during November SEW some lovely morsbags

5) share your beautiful morsbags online

6) ***UPDATE your pod details with how many morsbags you’ve made ***

6) Give your morsbags away for FREE 😊🐳

What is a Morsbag?
A reusable cloth bag made from recycled fabric that is given away for free.

What is a pod?
A pod is a sociable group of morsbag makers - like a pod of dolphins - you can join a local pod or make one of your own here
https://morsbags.com/pods/
Nb you can have any number of people in your pod - from 1 upwards. Not everyone in the pod has to sew.

Our Story

Allium Arts. based in Grange over Sands, in the South Lakes district of the Lake District, in Cumbria, UK, is a group promoting and encouraging creative arts, through personal tuition, groups, workshops and decorative art fairs.

Why the Allium? not just because we know our onions, more that the head of a blossom has individual heads that form the whole flower head. So as individuals coming together we can blossom, cross fertilising ideas amongst us, collaborating and cultivating fresh approaches.

We gather on a monthly basis and for more details of how to register contact Catherine on 07957 861408 or by email to [email protected]

We look forward to seeing you soon
