Off to hospital for another Comforter session visiting a relative. Who knew my first visits would be for my close family instead of wider community

It reminds me of the story about saving washed up starfish. When the child is told but you can’t save a whole beach full, she replies “ but I can save this one” as she returns it to the water

How many people will we reach? How many people can we help with ideas that are borne from our own recovery?

Inspiration

Paintings in particular are vistas into our imagination

They offer us glimpses of other ways of being. Offering opportunity to see other ways of seeing

They remind us of places we have been or places yet to discover. They take us deep into our own unique experiences and offer chances of connection

I’m mastering sewing on the machine
Love EPP for making scrappy quilts
But doing fancy stitches has evaded me till now

A new year musing from Adam inspired me to pull me finger out and drop my shoulder into taking a stitch a day for the year

So after learning stitches such as stem and fly, I thought it’s time to challenge myself to applying it
