What a day. Yesterday I had the privilege of marrying two beautiful soul’s Christine & Anthony and it was the perfect day from start to finish.

Let’s talk location….. OMG this is Anthony’s parents home just north of Maitland and what a stunning ceremony and reception venue it made. So much work put into this one and I cannot thank the grooms beautiful parents enough for opening up their home for such a special occasion ❤️.

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last. Well the sky shed plenty of good luck for Katie and Brendan when it poured rain all day on a grey October Thursday. BUT it stopped just in time for our outdoor ceremony and some magical photos. So why is rain good luck??? Well …….. a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to untie. Just a couple of friendly celebrants hanging out on a sunny Sunday morning. Meet Helena from Celebrate with Helena.

We met this time last year at the 2022 Central Coast Wedding Fair and have stayed celebrant friends ever since.

You’ll find us often catching up for a coffee talking all things weddings, and have each others back in time of need (i.e we back up your dates with each other in the event of an emergency 😉).

So nice being connected with like minded people who share a similar passion without any ‘BS’ competition that can sometimes comes in this industry.

Are you considering a ‘legals only’ marriage or ‘elopement’? Did you know that a marriage at the Sydney Registry office will cost you $469.00!! And that’s just the basic option, some go as high as $699.00.

Love birds….. I’ve got you covered with my ‘Elopement Package’ for only $450.00.

What’s included:
💕 Preparation and lodgment of all Marriage documentation.
💕Sample Vows to choose from (or you are welcome to write your own).
💕 Signing table & chairs if you want to make it legal at your favourite park or beach location.
💕 Me as your Celebrant

To make it legal, here is what I’ll need from you:-

* You must be over 18
* Two witnesses who are also over 18
* Complete the Notice of Intended Marriage a minimum of 31 days before the marriage date (I’ll prepare, we just need to meet & sign).

Andrew and I can not thank her enough for making the process so easy. Leading up to our wedding we had our celebrant cancel on us out of the blue and Sonya stepped in with ease, she got all the legals sorted quickly and made us feel extremely comfortable. Sonya did an amazing job and everyone loved our personalised, light hearted ceremony.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Pearce! Married 10 June 2023 and witnessed by their closest family & friends at Shelly Beach, Port Macquarie. A place that has special meaning to them both as well as family members.

The sun was shining and the love was flowing. There was even a special delivery of the wedding rings from the gorgeous pageboy which were hidden inside a baseball, a game they both love!

Pretty sure this was the moment we were laughing about one of the groomsmen forgetting his tie and the boys doing a quick trip back in town to buy a new one.

The groom was not stressed by this at all. He was 100% cool, calm and collected from word go!

Some good advice to couples is as much as you want your day to be 100% perfect, sometimes life throws a spanner or two.

Don’t sweat the small stuff, laugh it off and turn it into a funny memory you’ll talk about when reminiscing on your day.

There was so much love filling this magical chapel. A blended family coming together to celebrate all things love, loyalty, respect, and beautiful bonds. Oh……..had a bit of love shown for Parramatta Eels and online shopping sprees as well 😉.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Johnson!
Love was definitely in the air yesterday when these two love birds said I do.

Surrounded by close family and friends, Angela and Chris shared the most beautiful heartfelt vows. Yes…. tissues were 100% required.

But it was their love of music that brought out the giggles when Chris quoted some lyrics of an 80’s classic in his final promises to Ange 😊. So good!

10/10 on the brides dress and choice of shoes! I absolutely love them.

What if you can’t decide who to pick as your two legal witnesses to marriage? Well you could run a wedding raffle just like Mel and Tommy did!

Yep…. all wedding guests over 18 were given a raffle ticket on entry and told there was a special surprise at the end of the ceremony.

We then picked two lucky winners to sign the marriage certificates by drawing raffle tickets out of a hat.

This was so special and really well received by all guests, but most importantly created some beautiful memories for the couple 💗.

Just one of the many benefits of having a modern celebrant who can throw some non traditional suggestions your way 😉.

BRING OUT THE TEQUILA!!!

‘You may not realise it, but tequila is like a good marriage! It warms you from the inside, gives you strength and confidence, helps you face difficult situations, sometimes it gives you a headache, but is always forgiving’….

This ain’t no Mr & Mrs here, this is Mel and Tommy who 100% did things their way. Like a tequila ceremony!! Great fun.

How’s the irony of my previous post.
Let me tell you what you can’t prepare for ……very strong coastal winds!

There was love, there was wind, there was laughs, there was wind, there was tears, there was wind, and most importantly there was two absolute legends who took it all in their stride and as they said I do!!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Crosland.

(Oh and there was lots of dresses and hair flying high 😂, mine included!)
