Very exciting news!!! 🎉 As of last week, both myself, and my wife, are now full time together running Sunkisst Entertainment ☺️. This has been a long time coming…with a LOT of prayers, crunching numbers, and more praying 😅 As many of you know this business started in 2017 with just me as DJ Sunkisst. I then met the love of my life Desireé, in 2020, and since then she’s slowly become more and more apart of the business. She’s been helping in so many ways behind the scenes, and we finally saw an opportunity for her to leave her job and come on full time. This is all very scary and exciting at the same time, as we do not have all the answers and we’re still figuring things out……but with how busy y’all have made us, we had no choice but to just jump in together. 🧡 Both of us cannot thank everyone enough for continuing to allow us to provide our services for the community around us, and we can’t thank you enough for the continued support.

And a little context for the video, this was Desireé’s last day and I surprised/ scared her with a VERY loud confetti cannon 🎉😂

Our FIRST booked photo booth event since the bridal show debut in June! 🎉😃 After working on the photo booth for months, starting from an idea, to actually buying the booth, to now our first booking since launch!

Thank you all for the continued love & support of this business, it means a lot, and I’m so happy we’re able to help create memories that will last a life time. 🧡

We’re still looking to fill up our calendar with photo booth dates, so if you could comment or share to help get the word out, that would so much!

A very late thank you to everyone who came up and met my wife and I at the Bliss Bridal show in earlier in January. We met so many lovely couples! Craziest thing about the day? My wife and I totally forgot to take photos TOGETHER 🤦 We were so nervous at the start, and by the end everything had happened so fast that it just completely blew out of our minds.

I am thrilled to announce the launch of the NEW website, www.sunkisstentertainment.com! 😍 This has been months in the making, and it's a huge milestone as I transition from "me" to "we". As you may know, I started out as DJ Sunkisst in 2014, and as the years have gone by, I've been steadily growing. Last year alone for me was incredibly explosive. I ended up DJing around 70-75 events, which is a LOT for just one DJ. I also had a lot of requests I simply couldn't fulfill because it was just me! So within the next year I'm looking to to add another DJ, hence the name change to "Sunkisst Entertainment"!

In addition to the name change, I have also relocated this business to Round Rock to better serve and include the Austin area! Last year, I traveled all over Texas, but after some reflecting I'd like to concentrate on just a 50-mile radius around Round Rock to build deeper relationships with the venues I serve! This radius still includes the cities our roots are in like Killeen, Temple, Belton, and Copperas Cove!

Creating this website has been a serious labor of love, and I couldn't be more proud of it. I put a lot of dedication and hard work into it, and I hope you love it as much as I do. It would mean the world to me if you could help me spread the word by sharing the website with your friends and family. Thank you so much for your support, and I can not wait to see what the future holds for Sunkisst Entertainment! 😀

Happy Wednesday everyone! Jared here! As I was editing new videos to share, I thought I’d do something different instead this week and make a more sentimental post.

A lot has changed this year and DJ Sunkisst is now “DJ Sunkisst DJ & Lighting Services” and the company is now formerly filed as an LLC with the Secretary of State, filling number 804425673 (You can actually look it up online!)

At the moment it is still just myself as the only DJ in the company, as DJ Sunkisst, with the amazing background support of my wonderful fiancé as she’s helped with so many things in the business since we met. Some of you may get the chance to meet her during meetings, or as we get to work on some events together!

This year the company has been growing at an incredible rate, and I’m so grateful for all of you who have chosen DJ Sunkisst this year over the rest of the competition, and there’s a lot of great DJ’s out there! As a solo DJ…over 50 of y’all have chosen DJ Sunkisst this year so far, and there’s still 5 months to go! Last year that number was just 38 for the entire year. 🤯 It’s quickly getting to the point where another DJ will be needed soon to get back some more availability!

We’re also looking to relocate to a larger city soon, and of course get our own cargo van! Lot’s to come as the business slowly becomes more than just DJ Sunkisst! Can’t wait to have multiple incredible DJ’s on the team helping all of you make great memories on the dance floor! Until then, it’s just me! Y’all take care and have a blessed Wednesday evening!
