Never in my wildest ๐คฏ. What an end to 2024
Just shy of 20 years of DJing I've had many moments where I have had pinch me moments and can't quite believe the Artists I'm on stage with, line ups I've been on or even places I've played at. Whilst I don't disregard anything I've been blessed to be involved with, I have to say that THIS ( for me, for us) is a moment that i cant find words to describe how I feel. Last night we travelled to Wakefield to party at and finally meet face to face JULIET ROBERTS at the Retro Hq End of year Event.๐๐ฅณ๐ต๐คฉ๐๐
To have One of my absolute Queens and legends of House Music sing on stage to a track that she wanted me to rework and bring into 2025 for her especially for her PA performance, well...Just wow.๐ค The Track ' Caught in the middle' has been a firm tiptop fave of mine since it came out 30 years ago! So to be asked by Juliet to rework it for her is totally out of this world.๐
Juliet is such a beautiful person, we had a right laugh and in all honesty, you'll see in the vid...she shot the perfect break for the pool table balls too๐คฃ 2025 looks brand new for us as we work on future projects together. It also means all the more to me as the contact with juliet was made when I was playing at Paphos Beats from a video that was sent to her of meโ๏ธ While I was at paphos my dad died and I never made it back on time as was planned. It was his one wish that I went to Paphos to play my heart out for him and in honour of him. If I hadn't have done that, then none of this would have happened. EVERYTHING happens for a reason and I know my dad is giving me his love and energy and guiding my life for great things.
Big ups to Paul Taylor too...what a great Event and long established brand in the perfect venue.

A week ago I was asked by One of my ultimate favourite Vocalists and Queens of House, Juliet Roberts to completely rework her famous and much loved House Track ' Caught In The Middle'
An absolute 'pinch me' moment in my career and an absolute Honor.
Needless to say, it's been a journey as I haven't been too clever with using Reason as I'm more of an Ableton Girl. Reason is a great programme though. This rework is a special one as it will be used by Juliet for her Live PAs.
To be asked to do this is out of this world as the track always did and always has meant so much to me for many different reasons. An absolute instrumental track for me in my love of House Music and a pivotal moment in my production journey.

Today is another Proud day for me in my Music Career.
just 4 short Months ago, we had an idea to start a Radio Station off the back of our Events brand Back2House Events !
It was only ever supposed to be a small channel on MIXLR ! Fast forward to TODAY and we are now a fully fledged online Radio Station with our own Apps on Android and Apple, Website, Available on Alexa AND have a growing Schedule of DJs who's Recorded shows get streamed across the World on Deezer, Apple Music / ITunes, Amazon Music and many other platforms !
Back2House Radio has been born and i couldn't be prouder of myself AND the DJs who have come on board and showed EXACTLY what a Radio Family should be. Supporting each other on a professional and Personal Level, Sharing great Music and just absolutely, totally being behind what I am trying to do, what the Station represents and following me from MIXLR to this New Exciting Platform where they have had to learn and agree to New rules, new set ups and new techniques.
Im absolutely passionate and believe in our BACK2HOUSE EVENTS brand and the family of Ravers and supporters who follow the brand and our BACK2HOUSE RADIO is now another stem to the B2H Family tree where our supporters of Old AND NEW can come together.
