Once upon a sunny day in Berlin, Germany, whilst enjoying a beer and working on an music video, Glasgwegian Television student Iain Henderson had a bright idea. To create an instrument for developing creativity and skills and a platform for documenting and p

romoting Scottish hip hop. After talking with classmate William Topping, it was agreed 4/20 2013 would mark the launch of Sketchy Productions. The almighty Sea Bass drew up a logo in his famous handstyle and that was that, the movement was founded. Since then Sketchy Productions has seen a lot of great talent, fantastic liveshows, and developed a lot of great ideas with great people. Starting with Nity Gritz and 'Artistic Integrity'. This video was filmed around Ferguslie Park, Paisley and features Mick and his Ice Cream Van, and the magnificent Lal the shopkeeper, jammin' out. This video won both Best Camera and Best Edit in the Cardonald College Music Video Awards 2013. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuslgKIIZG4

Then it was on to a sunny day in Edinburgh with Sean El & OneTzu with 'Pages' produced by the legendary Konchis. Filmed in two of Scotland's best Independent Book Shop, this video captures the city's summer drunken, piffed out, scribbled scripture steez. Fish eye and Purple tint for that signiture Sean El style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOU8RgI2_rY

'The Glasgow Comeback'
Written by Brian Anderson

In Glasgow, McCarthy’s tale of redemption and resilience culminated in the shooting of the music video for “Runaway.” Directed by BAFTA Award-winning director Iain Henderson, the video promises to be a poignant representation of McCarthy’s journey from the depths of crime to the heights of artistic expression.

The choice of Glasgow as the backdrop for this video is fitting. The city’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant music scene provide a perfect canvas for McCarthy’s comeback. As the cameras rolled, capturing the essence of “Runaway,” McCarthy’s transformation from a convicted drug trafficker to a celebrated musician became evident.
