In just three years we created on of the most exciting family street festivals in Phoenix attracting more than 28,000 people to downtown Phoenix. To our sponsors, vendors, partners, and all the families that supported the Famtastical Festival, we thank you.
COVID hit and put the brakes on everything and the event has been on hold since. During this time we have heard from many of you that want to see the event return. Parents and students miss participating in the Creative Writing Contest, which drew over 1,000 entries from K-6 graders, or meeting PJ Masks, Peppa Pig, their favorite superheroes, or Peyton List in person. Our vendors loved the personal interaction with their customers and introducing themselves to new customers. Many more have provided suggestions on what's next for the Festival.
We are listening.
Some suggest we franchise the event to cities, towns, municipalities, and communities across Arizona, or to school districts or community-based organizations to create a signature annual festival to build community. We love all of your ideas so please keep them coming. Post your ideas, who you would like to see at the festival, the new activities, and most of all, what you think would be most exciting for your family and children.
