Organization.....so satisfying ♥️ Summer is a time for reorganization", spring cleaning", and resetting the ASU costume shop for the upcoming year. It's some big project every year. This year the marriage of two shops, making one. Theater costume shop and the dance costume shop. Combining with the dance shop, finally having a dedicated fitting room this year, and adding a staff member has opened new opportunities, possibilities and needs in the shop. It's been an organization palooza this summer and it's only June!

Summer regrouping and organizing has begun....I was all by my lonesome ... A dance break to start the day was a must! Happy Shakey Tushy Tuesday 🕺😜🕺

Busy time in the shop.... regrouping from three shows back to back and starting some organizing..... today, tie storage was on the adjenda......made with yards of wacky 1970s trim, donated fabric sewn using up cones, spools and bobbins of thread with very little left on them......it was a productive assembly line kinda day! Now they are all hanging where we can see them and out of the boxes!

Last week I was (once again) alone in the shop, and on our floor. others were out in meetings or shop errands.... Loud music and dance break seemed in order. Last lone shop dance break of the summer! This week, the students are back!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Van Dance Break on our way to Panini Day in the dance department... an annual lunch time fun time with our department colleagues. And... just so ya know....my coworkers are so patient with me and my wackiness. ❤❤❤

Costume shenanigans in the ASU Theatre Costume shop and round about in the places we visit.

When the table is clean - the shop is more quiet and the energy at a slower pace. But when the messes begin to accumulate about the shop.....the creativity explodes and the magic happens. But there is much joy even in the stressful moments - and shenanigans happen!
