Hard to imagine these wildly beautiful flowers are now showing signs of life in our basement, slumbering under the snow or waiting under lights for their transition to our unheated hoophouse. The winds are (literally) howling around the farm and the snow is deep and hard on top and unyielding (thank you to my steadfast and 💕🏆plow woman for clearing the driveway’s cement skirt)

This wildflower inspired early September wedding featured a storied array of our vintage collection for these romantic tablescapes.

We love to treasure hunt, and over time have curated an incomparable menagerie of beautiful things. From delicate bud vases to stately urns and beyond, these timeless artifacts are available as rentals to our clients. When we do add newly made items to our inventory, we carefully choose classic pieces of lasting quality. We work with each couple to create an individualized combination of elements to reflect their aesthetic and vision.

Having rentals as opposed to single use also speaks to the sustainability goals at the heart of Fast Pony Flowers.

Isabelle and Ethan wed under an old oak tree on her family’s farm in late August of 2021 in between storms and after a one year Covid delay. Isabelle wore the dress her aunt wore at her wedding on the same beautiful property decades before(where Isabelle’s parents also were married)

Fast Pony Flowers designed the bouquets, boutonnières and hair decorations and provided buckets of blooms for their table decor to be created on site by family and friends.

This is a wonderful way to incorporate farm fresh flowers and to enable the contribution of loved ones while still having professional personal wedding flowers to wear and carry.

In addition to our devotion to bespoke and luxe full service design and floral events, Fast Pony traditionally does a few of these hybrid events per year. This year there will be more dates open for couples interested in exploring this option. There will also be an a la carte option with simple arrangements in place of the buckets. I/we are so wildly lucky to be in friend/floral cohort here in Southern Vermont with and .roots.farm.flowers-both will be collaborating to make this expanded offering bountiful (and possible!) I can’t get over these outrageously romantic shots by the very talented of Taylor and Ryan and their 100% dried flower wedding in November. The bare trees, moody skies and candlelit interiors were the perfect backdrop for this dreamy pair.

Peony season really is outrageous. And quite early this year. This is ‘Crinkled Linens’ and ‘Soft Salmon Saucer’ in a vase I made under the guidance of my dear -can you believe it!! I am going to make so many more (haha, in my extra life) If you have signed up for Fast Pony Flower Club: Peonies-I will send out an email this weekend with details!

Week 4-last week of the Spring edition of the Fast Pony Flower Club! This week clearly has it all-the last of the tulips, the near end of the ranunculus, the first of the peonies-coral and burgundy-as well as the vibrant perennial greens and deep purples.
