This Friday, I'm gonna be spinning for a day party from 1 pm to 6 pm , first 15 people to arrive during my set AND purchase $5 or more in gear from the store will get a free pre-roll and their choice of photography print from my own personal collection of taken photos. The street is closed, but the sidewalk is open, so pop on in after finding parking. I'll be spinning an eclectic mix of house, world, jazz, and amapiano music. It took me a lot of time, love, and learning to get to where I'm at today. I was never allowed to go out and party as a kid til I turned 17 and moved out the house. Since then I've been outside nonstop and working to find my passion. Thanks to the people who I've surrounded myself with for the past few years, I know exactly where I want to be and who I'm meant to be. I'm still working to be that, but I'm way closer than I was 5 years ago. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our first Mellow Pines event and vibes out at the house party at the one and only ✨️ Though not everyone who participated and performed is pictured the love for y'all is there and I hope to see everyone who was on the line up and who showed out prosper and live life to its fullest potential. So I want y'all to join me next Friday for "Off The Chest" a completely free creative therapy event, and get what's on your mind, heart, shoulders, and chest lifted off you as we share our frustration, depression, love, hate, and everything we need to get off the mental. I'll be spinning the 1s and 2s as well as spitting a bit of poetry. I'll be joined by the homies and as we let y'all know how we really been feeling. Software, hardware, mixers, Lights, etc. I'll be giving you an understanding on how to start DJing at whatever level you're at! It's Friday and it feels like a real relaxed day so today we're jamming out at 106 Gallery for Final Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM. For all my DJs who just wanna practice we're offering open decks and to anyone who wants to sell some gear pop out, I'll have tables for you. Bring your friends, family, and biggest supporters. June is a busy month, so I'm giving y'all the lowdown on my weekend plans right now 😤 These are all certified vibes, so trust me and pull up.

Friday May 31st, y'all can catch me running the Final Fridays Community Art Auction and Open Decks. That's be from 5 pm to 9 PM, and then y'all can catch me popping over to to support the homie Riv as he takes over sound as from 7 PM.

Saturday June 1st, I'll be spinning with and at from 9 PM to 1:30 AM. It's a straight up Afrobeat and Caribbean take over. That means y'all better be prepared for some deep culture diving.

Sunday June 2nd, I'm curing my sleep deprivation based hangover with as he takes over sound at Fresian from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Saturday June 8th, I'll be in both Grand Rapids and Holland as we kick it for with the grand opening of during the day from 1 PM to 6 PM and I'll be bringing out the latino community at the from 9 PM to 2 AM

Due to recent occurances in life, I will be renting out and selling some of my DJ gear. All items are available to rent, but the Rane one is not for sale at all. The sale price for the mixstream pro+ is $300 and the PartyMix is $60 bucks. So they're both half off the market price/value. All equipment is available to rent for $40 per hour (or $25 per quick set [anything less than an hour]) Money must be paid out before rental/purchase is approved. For rentals I will be at the set the entire to time to ensure equipment safety and proper set up.

This month's focus is on being the peace and finding the peace with the people around you. will be providing the sounds as DJ with as the host. Workshops are community led and we do an Open Mic to allow people to try out new music with feature performances to set the mood and tone for the evening.

Friday, I'll be in Lansing for 5/17 providing support with I'll be bringing in the afrolatino, latino, and carribean roots to Lansing for all my people from 9:30 PM to 12 AM.

I've been hosting these DJ Open Decks and Open Mics for the past few months in hopes of allowing those in our community to have a safe space to perform, practice, and just enjoy the atmosphere of a true community. Tonight, we start our Final Friday Series, 4/26, where we will be opening up 106 Gallery completely to the public and creating a Free Mind Pop-Up Market, where anyone and everyone can sell their wares and food with no concern for booth payments or percentages, Kinda like the old Studio 28 Flea Market. Come out and support your local businesses and artists and sell your own gear and wares. We'll be jamming out til 9 PM and ending the night with and to add some spice to our lives. It's a busy week and weekend. I'm BOOKED and BUSY as this is is part 1 of my April Event Drop 🙏🏼 First and Foremost, I'll be starting The Velvet Room Workshops with "Cameras & Connections", April 9th, which I will be breaking down the MellowVelvet theory of photography. In other words, I'll be breaking down my style of photography, why I hate flash photography (yet still know how to use it), my favorite kind of scenery, and giving a tour of mural locations and hidden gems of from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M., every Tuesday and Thursday.

I'm happy to announce that I will be holding photography workshops for donations (completely optional, Donation not required to participatebut highly appreciated) at 106 Division Ave in the Artist studio space as well as around Downtown. I'll be running through the different kinds of cameras and settings for all brands, as well as teaching the importance of finding your own personal eye. Every photographer and videographer is different, and at Mellow Velvet Productions, we strive to help community members grow and find their passion within the arts. Tomorrow, April 9th, will be our official launch. Bring your camera and enjoy the vibes. I'll be giving a tour of Downtown and it's mural locations for the first day, so pack lightly.

Here at (MVP) we seek to improve and nurture community outreach and activity. That's one of the main reasons why my prices are on the lower end even for regular shoots and events. I'd like to welcome in a new season by providing my services at an even lower cost to help those coming back from spring break or preparing to have a ShowOut Typa Summer. I'll be providing full photoshoots at half price, providing $30 Headshot or Digital Shoots to anyone interested, and $15 dollar comp card services. It's $50 for the full package. Tag a friend who lives or is willing to travel to for custom Postcard and Collage Shoots for $60. Half of the full amount is required as a deposit to book.
