Kate Dowman Bride is a well know brand in the bridal industry for over 20 years, formally based in Epsom, Auckland. Over the years Kate and her team have designed and made dresses for literally hundreds of Brides. Kate's designs have graced the covers of magazines, featured in NZ Fashion Week and dressed numerous celebrity clients. Now based in her home town of Christchurch, she is launching back into the bridal market in her usual innovative way, creating “ready to purchase” designer gowns, one off couture creations, and accessories for a new generation of brides.

From Kate....”I offer a highly personal consultation service to each and every bride. I pride myself on creating a fun and relaxed environment where I can get to know my bride’s style, likes and dislikes and her vision for her wedding day. At the first consultation I help guide her to the shape of gown that best suits her body, choose fabrics and embellishments that compliment the design”, whilst keeping in mind the budget and theme of the wedding. Whether a bride chooses from one of my ready to wear gowns, or has a one off gown created, her wedding gown is a statement of a moment in time, a place in time, and its style should stand the test of time.” Kate Dowman
