The Men of Árainn in London Town 1950s

A lovely photo from days gone by that was sent in and shared with us, showing a group of fine Irish men from Árainn, over in London town back in the day. I have been told the photo was taken in the Crown Public House in Hammersmith, London in 1953.

The names of the gentlemen from left to right are as follows: Cóilín Steven, Micheal Gillan, Padraig Milan, Martin Cooke, Brian Mullin, Mícheál Cooke, Padraig O Toole.

God rest the souls of the men in the photo who have since departed us, until we meet them again one day 🙏

I really love this photo, it captures a special moment in time of great friends together, forever.
