Yesterday we had our last class of the season: the installation class of the 3-day wedding florist course!
I always try to encourage students to find inspiration in the seasons and in nature, so the beautiful golden fall foliage that’s available in nature right now was a must for this October install!
As a theme for this installation we wanted to create some ultimate cosy fall vibes, and words like ‘hygge’, blankets, leaves, forest, candles, fireplace, books,… came to mind. The idea of ‘books’ inspired us and finally lead us to the concept of a ‘reading fort’ in the forest, to crawl into and escape into a good book.
This was so much fun to create and it all came to life when our cute model Marcel got in there with a Harry Potter book! My childhood reading fort dreams literally came true (huge Harry Potter fan over here 🤓)!
So proud of these 3 amazing florists .elhassani .sue_ for working together on this amazing creation, for supporting eachother the past 3 weeks and challenging themselves to learn and try new things! Proud of you guys! ❤️
This was the last wedding florist course of the season and I’m so thankful for every single student that visited my studio and garden this year! I had the best time with all of you! 🫶🏻
PS: New 2025 dates for courses and workshops will probably be announced around January. If you’re not on the mailinglist, send me an e-mail to get updates! 🤗❤️
