โฃโฃNeighborhood reunions was created in 2018 by two friends, Donald Storrs and William Champion, who shared the pleasure of growing up and attending McFarland Junior High and Mackenzie High Schools together in Detroit, Michigan.

After graduating high school, Donald and William made a pact to meet and have breakfast or lunch once a month.

As time went by, they decided to invite other friends with whom they shared not only schools, but rivalries in sports and neighborhood quarter parties.

From that invitation, Neighborhood reunions grew to over one hundred plus, meeting at various venues each month.
โฃโฃ
With the success of the gatherings, they decided to have T-Shirts made with 'Neighborhood' printed on the front and the addresses of their old neighborhoods or the names of their previous schools printed on the back.

In 2019, COVID brought everything to a halt; the gatherings were placed on hold, which is why the upcoming reunion on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 11 AM to 8 PM on the Sherrill Elementary School playground will be so special. We hope you can join us!@

โฃโฃNeighborhood reunions was created in 2018 by two friends, Donald Storrs and William Champion, who shared the pleasure of growing up and attending McFarland Junior High and Mackenzie High Schools together in Detroit, Michigan.

After graduating high school, Donald and William made a pact to meet and have breakfast or lunch once a month.
โฃโฃ
As time went by, they decided to invite other friends with whom they shared not only schools, but rivalries in sports and neighborhood quarter parties.

From that invitation, Neighborhood reunions grew to over one hundred plus, meeting at various venues each month.

Our Story

We all have stories to tell. What we have in common, no matter our ethnicity, socioeconomic status, education, or age, is the need to express ourselves and have our voices heard.

New Day Cinema is a Community of Storytellers based in Los Angeles, California. We are a networking support group for like-minded industry creatives who wish to work together as a team to achieve the common goal of creating scripts, screenplays, and short films which bring about positive personal, social, and environmental change in our community.

We provide a think-tank, writersโ€™ room atmosphere, where creative producers, screenwriters, playwrights, filmmakers, actors, and composers come together to brainstorm and share script ideas for television, movies, and stage plays, from inception to pre-production.
