Games, Music and Vibes is what it's all about. This Friday One Nation returns for our first get together of 2024. Our special guest DJ this month is none other than Grown Folks Grooves. A connoisseur from the classics to new unreleased music. DJ Croc will be hosting and DJing too. 8pm-2am Upstairs at the Ritzy, Brixton. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

One People Under The Banner of Good Music

One Nation represents a progressive movement and community that demand a high standard from public events. The name One Nation is taken from “One Nation Under A Groove” a classic funk track by Funkadelic. This track embodies much of what One Nation represents: infectious music to dance to; a reputation of giving women sore feet, community, fun, good times, unity. One Nation began as an event for lovers of old school music. check out the story of how it all began here. It began in 2013 at legendary, now closed, Coloseum night club in London. Currently in it’s fifth year, its home since 2016 is upstairs at the Ritzy Cinema, in Brixton.

Today, One Nation has grown and evolved into so much more than just great old school of multiple genres. It now incorprates new music aswell as old, music videos through vjing, live artists, karaoke, comedy, games, and branded merchandise. The event has the spontaneity, intimacy and fun you usually get at a private house party. It’s been described as “just what you need before going to work on Monday”, and a “cave of good music”.
