This will be a fabulous workshop, such a fun experience in the Abbey Tea Room at the enchanting Jervaulx Abbey. There will be the most beautiful seasonal flowers for you to create a hand-tied bouquet and then to take home a stunning door wreath that will be the envy of all your friends. The tea room is renowned for its delicious bakes and at lunchtime you will be able to enjoy the Afternoon Taster which is included in the cost of the workshop.

If you love flowers like we do or you want a lovely day out why not book onto our Summer Wreath making workshop at the stunning Jervaulx Abbey Tea Room. An Afternoon Taster treat is included. You may not know that the lovely ladies who own the tearooms also own Where The Ribbon Ends, you may be lucky enough to have enjoyed one of their wedding cakes. If you know me you'll know how much I loved being involved in the wedding industry and creating the floral arrangements for lots of your weddings, or you might be one of my industry friends. Recently a florist friend and I started to offer DIY wedding flower workshops, some people are finding it so hard these days and others like to add their own personal touch to their special day so we thought we may be able to help. We ran our first workshop last weekend and it was a huge hit but it is hard to get the word out there when you are starting something new, so I would be eternally grateful if you could share our post and spread the word. Well it seems once you have a passion you always have a passion. After retiring from weddings flowers (okay, I've done a couple), I missed working with the beautiful flowers, meeting so many wonderful couples and the buzz of weddings. So, together with Felicity from Briar House Flowers we are launching our DIY Wedding Flower workshops for couples who want to create their own unique flowers for their wedding. Today after more than sixteen years of providing wedding flowers for some amazing couples we have done our final wedding when Nicci and Simon tied the knot at The Bell Barn, Tupgill Park. It has been a privilege to be trusted with so many weddings, I have loved every minute and met some amazing couples and their families. I have met some very talented suppliers along the way and made good friends, so thank you to all the photographers, cake makers, musicians, artists, event stylists, make-up artists, hairdressers, bridal outfitters, venues, magicians, other florists, and the flower growers and suppliers who work so hard to create the magic and who have made this such a great industry to work in. To all those who said I'd never retire, I just did (or maybe not - watch this space to see what's next). Thank you all for your support and continue to have fun x
