My name is Lauren and I am so glad your here. When I'm not taking photos of my amazing clients I'm teaching Pre-k in NJ. I feel its my 10 plus years as an early childhood teacher that helps me find a way to connect with families. Making that connection is so impornant to be able to capture a true smile from all. My job is to help you relax and enjoy the time with your family. While I capture the magic that is you.

TURNED DOWN & PASSED UP, IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PUP?

“Good things come to those who wait” has to be one of the most painful statements in rescue. Perfectly good pups escape their shelter fate, only to find themselves waiting on the adoption circuit to be picked for a happily ever after.

Blueberry has not only waited her turn but suffered the fate of not being picked twice. Pups that are passed by, posted multiple times or not instantly adopted are assumed to be a ‘problem pup’ and become nearly invisible on the adoption circuit. There are many reasons meet and greets fail, and in these cases the resident pups just weren’t ready to extend their canine family.

Two months later this lady is still looking for humans to call her own. Blueberry is your typical Australian Cattle Dog, extremely loyal, willing to please and affectionate with her humans. She does have the tendency to herd anything small and quick moving so we recommend a family without kitties or little children. Blueberry can get a bit excited and vocal when meeting pups on leash but don’t let that scare you, this girl really enjoys her canine friends. She absolutely loved her play group at the shelter, and can’t wait to play with her canine friends in her foster home. A pup that is more on the easy going or submissive side would be an ideal match. Unsurprisingly this girl is mastering her basic doggy skills. Aside from playtime Blueberry enjoys snuffle mats, frozen kongs, doggy puzzles, belly rubs, giving kisses and a structured routine.

Like, share, comment on her post so she doesn’t become invisible on the adoption circuit. Don’t let her be labeled as a problem pup, because she is far from it. For those who might not know. I wrote and published my first children's book. The Adventures of Jimmy and Bob: the flu.

It's on Amazon now and a fun read for ages 3 and up. The story teaches children why it's important to wash the germs off their hands. After the story there is a checking for understanding, coloring pages and an activity.
