A little update I thought I would share - never expected to be in The Wall Street Journal, but am grateful for the opportunities that continue to come my way. And I am back in the books and studying - Culinary Medicine! Very excited to continue my education with an amazing mentor.

We're thrilled to be part of the game-changing initiative launched by the – the Capitals Rising Stars Academy. We had the privilege of teaming up with private chef and hockey player Joel “JoJo” Thomas - , to host a fantastic cooking class and nutrition talk for aspiring athletes.

From discussing foundational aspects of nutrition to unraveling the secrets of simple carbs, our goal was clear: to empower these young minds to stay open, curious, and conscious about their food choices. We wanted to show them that proper nutrition can be one of their greatest allies, and encourage them to explore new tastes as part of the adventure.
