This modest facility is where Nashville has it's Big Band Dance each Saturday throughout the summer. 3,000 to 4,000 people come each week to dance or just enjoy the great music. Musicians earn union scale (big deal for a 40 piece band) and are paid by the city and a non profit musicians fund. Because of how the band shell is on an island, it will probably never have the success of Centennial Park, but I believe we can have some success.
