So saddened to hear the news that my first chef I worked for 15 years ago who taught me so much and was a pivotal role in my career as a young chef starting off has sadly passed. Richard was a real joy and inspiration to the Norfolk culinary scene and teaching at his cookery school.

He will be truly missed by everyone from ex chefs like myself to all of the customers he cooked for throughout his career.

Our condolences from everyone at CRE to all of his family.

We are so excited to announce the return of our Supper Club! On Tuesday 15th November Connor will be serving up a tasting menu with all of Autumn’s finest local produce at one of our favourite places Makers House! The team at will be looking after all things drinks, with the evening beginning upstairs in their other bar, Hawthorn, where you can enjoy a delicious pre dinner cocktail.
