Who’s Jeff White

Jeff White grew up in a photography family; his grandfather, Buell Case, was Huntsville’s premier portrait photographer, and Jeff spent his childhood in the studio. Majoring in Fine Arts at the University of Alabama, Jeff began to hone his lighting and developing techniques, having learned from his grandfather how important the technical side of photography should be, while embracing the creative side of the camera as well. As he grew, his work did also, especially as the world went digital. Jeff’s artistic abilities go beyond the lens; his personality makes him an excellent portrait photographer who is able to keep his subjects at ease. In addition to his portrait studio located in the Kennedy Building on Governors Drive, Jeff owns and operates Clicks Foto, Inc. which specializes in event photography. His artwork is available at The Switch House and may be seen at Sandwich Farm. “Photography allows me to explore the relationships of so many things; people, man vs. nature, light against darkness. Being able to capture the dynamics of life in a still moment is what is so appealing about photography, and what makes me continue to pick up my camera.”
