When it comes to my other life (outside the 9-5 grind) I’m not one for public reflections. So I guess… New year, who dis?
Firstly, I would like to thank Logan, Dylan, Liam and the entire crew at Shipwrecked who busted ass to put this weekend together. You guys have got that s**t dialled. From sound to decor and everything in between. The thoughtful little touches some might not even notice show you all really care about what you’re creating!
To everyone who braved the early Saturday morning with me - Thank you all so much! You guys added to that experience immensely!!
Soundtechs, Lighting, Artist Liaisons - you lot were on 🔥🔊🔊
To everybody who came to chat (before and after), or even the few “bigups” in passing, you are the reason I love doing this s**t!
I’ve been doing this music thing for over a decade now(!?) It started as a hobby, but it quickly turned into a compulsion.’ I’ve loved the journey and growing with it. I’m always excited to see whats around the corner.
Last but certainly not least: MASSIVE shout out to all the Artist, Performers, DJs and everything in between. Lineups were stacked to the rafters, and everone brought their A-Game!
Big-up yourselves
Thanks again to the entire Shipwrecked Festival NZ - Punters, Medical Crews, Locals, Chefs keeping us fed and hydrated - you guys are amazing! Hopefully I can be a part of this again in the not so distant future!
Cheers,
Skelta
